Very attractive and 'green' property in a beautiful location. Rooms were spacious and all had fine views. Ideal location for our walking group to tackle the Brecons

The hosts did not respond to repeated requests for early access via Booking.com, cottages.com, Awaze Vacation Rentals and only returned my phone messages on the morning of our trip (when we'd already set out from home). The bathroom above the kitchen smelt of bad drains

Loved the spacious communal areas. Each bedroom having its own en-suite is great. The kitchen with 2 cookers and plenty of prep space made it easier to cater for a large group. Great to be able to go on interesting walks from the cottage. Kids all loved the table football.

The downstairs double room was compromised on space - would have made more sense to make one of the nice twin rooms the second double. It also smelt damp. A bit annoying when all the kids had much nicer rooms!! We couldn’t work out the hot water, so ended up going round all the bathrooms each morning to find a shower with hot water! The lazy susan on the dining table was a great idea on such a large table, but would have made mealtimes easier to have a larger one that everyone could actually reach!
