This apt is perfectly situated to explore many parts of Paris, within walking distance from most sights. The neighborhood has a lot to offer, shops, bars, and restaurants, and we especially enjoyed the closeness to Jardin du Luxembourg, a shady haven for the hot summer days. The apt itself is well furnished and nicely decorated. It was quiet, not much noice from the streets. Staying three adults was a bit of a squeeze with all of our luggage, but we managed and had a nice stay. Having traveled quite a bit and stayed in many older cities, this apt was pretty much as we expected. If you want AC, modern amenities, and accessibility, I would recommend a newer hotel, not a private apartment in the older districts. For us, the location is more important than the standard of accommodation.

The apt is in serious need of a thorough, deep, clean, washing of throws and pillows on the sofa, the drain in the shower, etc. I agree with prior guests that the baby crib should be removed when it's not been requested. It takes up unnecessary space. Also, a plug for the bathroom sink would be a good addition. Something to note for future guests: it is an old building, and as a consequence, the stairs are steep and quite narrow. Since the apt is on the third floor, this could possibly be challenging. I was amazed there even was an elevator, but it's quite small, and we only used it to haul our luggage. Also, there is a step up to reach the elevator. All in all, it's not an ideal rental for some kinds of disabilities.

The location is excellent and the layout of the apartment is spacious and nicely renovated. There's a large, spacious wardrobe in bedroom plus a separate set of drawers.

The apartment looked tidy on our arrival however that impression didn't last due to these factors... the late arrival of the owner to give us the door key; a lock difficult to open on the apartment door; the state of the KITCHEN - dirty oven and microwave, non working toaster, very untidy & messy cutlery tray; BEDROOM - the mattress sagged in the middle so not a comfortable sleep; a portable cot that we hadn't asked for taking up valuable space; the state of the BATHROOM - an absolute minimun amount of toilet paper, no cover over the drainhole in the basin that even men's large rings could fall down; an empty bottle of handwash at the basin, no shower gel or soap, very untidy cabinet; It became obvious after reading previous Reviews of this apartment mentioning similar experiences that the owner either ignores them or perhaps doesn't read them.

Brak klimatyzacji, brudna sofa, koce i poduszki. Przy temperaturze 35 stopni tylko 1 wentylator, niezbyt czyste sztućce i talerze, brak kontaktu elektrycznego w łazience.
