Perfect place if you are coming with your family to Eftling Park, really enhanced my experience by staying in this place

I’m a picky person, and there is nothing that i didn’t like in this place. You need to have a car to enjoy the stay, and then everything you need is 5 mins away.

Everything! The place was beautiful and the photos really do not do it justice. The children loved the outdoor space and spent any downtime in the garden. The chickens at the bottom of the garden were an added bonus. The view when you open the curtains in the morning are just beautiful. The shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were really comfortable. This was our first time visiting the Netherlands so the accommodation was perfect for exploring all the way from Amsterdam to Maastricht. Our hosts were so friendly and really helpful with both the house and providing knowledgeable information to help with our travels - we cannot thank them or recommend this place enough.

The oven was quite difficult to use. There are instructions in the back of the folder but I still struggled!

Ideal place for a family holiday

Really clean, modern and well equipped. Nice big garden to use. Very hot during our stay so the air conditioning was very welcome.

The location is really secluded and quiet. Facilities were excellent. Granddaughters impressed by having horses and chickens nearby. A good value stay and excellent communication with owners

Excellent location, exceptionally clean. It’s about 7 mins from the theme park and close to a few supermarkets. Host lives next door and is on hand for anything you need. Great if you’re travelling with children.

Great communication from the owners. Gila very friendly and helpful. A bottle of wine and drinks for the children on arrival. Very private. Lots of open space for the children to run around and play. Very clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The double bed was creaky/noisy with even the tiniest movement and ideally needs to be replaced. A minor point though and not something that significantly detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

A home away from home

Super clean and excellently laid out accommodation. Had everything we could have needed. Great location, only a 5 min drive to the nearest supermarkets in Kaatsheuval. Kids loved the play area at the front. Couldn't fault the accommodation, will definitely be booking for our next trip.

Very nice little cottage in countryside. Pictures don’t do justice. Beautiful and peaceful place for great nights sleep.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Efteling attractions park. Amazing place to stay, with feeling of country side and yet so close to town, shops and Efteling park all just few minutes drive. Hosts are very nice people with great sense of humour. Thank you very much for everything and hopefully see you again in the future.

The hosts are extremely nice people, and made us feel at home immediately. They even invited us and the kids to their private home to show and explain how they raise their chickens and eggs. The apartment is fully equipped. Very clean and comfortable. The garden is huge and they have a box with balls and toys for the kids. Efteling is just 5 minutes away by car. We had a great time!

lovely chalet in fields with horses

comfortable, clean house, with a big garden and lovely owners who go out of their way to accommodate special wishes. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor adjacent to the living room, which can be good or bad, depending on how deep your children sleep. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable shower, everything brand new and clean. The patio has a large barbecue, there is a little playground and sun beds, with a view of chicken and fields with horses - this place is probably perfect for summer nights.

the place is at the outer edge of Kaatsheuvel and you definitely need a car to get to and from this place, and to the local highlights (Efteling, restaurants, hiking trails, Loonse en Drunense duinen, shops). Don’t make the mistake (like we did) of thinking there will be buses or taxis you can call.

Beautiful, comfortable nest

We were met by the host who was very welcoming, and always available living in the house next door. The location was perfect, an easy bike ride for us and our children (6 and 9) to the shops in Kaatsheuvel, the Efteling theme park and the Loonse dunes. The cottage is built and furnished to a very high standard with great facilities inside and out including patio furniture, BBQ, play equipment, garden toys, coffee maker (pod type), hairdryer, TV and secure cycle storage. The cottage had great attention to detail with things like fly nets on the windows. It was very hot when we stayed and our boys loved playing in the garden sprinklers! Overall it was very clean, very comfortable and a very attractive and relaxing environment.

No complaints at all, but but the combi oven was not great at grilling toast!

The location was amazing, very close to amenities while being right on the edge of town, so lovely to be surrounded by nature. The property itself had everything you could want and more and was absolutely beautiful! The garden was my favourite part, a very quiet and relaxing place to sit in the sunshine and watch the sunset in the evenings. My daughter loved the chickens and ducks so much and being able to feed them was the highlight of her holiday! Marc and Gila were such friendly and welcoming hosts, many thanks to them.

Very hard to think of anything negative to say as it was so great! The only thing I missed was a toaster but absolutely not something to complain about!

The chalet looks brand new and is spotless! Warm welcome by Gila and Marc. Free private parking, outdoor seating area, complete kitchen inventory. Close to Efteling, nature parks and zoo. Our 1,5 yr old daughter loved the slide/swingset and the ducks and chickens in the yard!

We had a wonderful stay with Marc and Gila. They are very hospitable hosts. The cottage is lovely, clean and new yet tastefully decorated. The large garden and play materials invited us to spend all days outside. The sight of cows, horses and sounds of rooster in the morning really completes your city escape. Bonus is the duck / chicken pen with free fresh eggs in the morning. Based on video we shared with family one of our parents immediately placed a booking. There is plentiful to do in the surrounding area (Efteling, swimming pool, Den Bosch city, restaurants, ...) We can highly recommend this location.

Booking indicates no prepayment is required, yet we received a request for upfront payment from the owner. The owner was very helpful in explaining that in the case the payment is run via Booking, they automatically indicate no prepayment is required. The owner was flexible to accept later payment, so no bad faith or sentiment.

Very nice secluded place if you want to be surrounded by Nature.... And you have the chance of getting fresh eggs every day from the chicken on the farm! Hosts were very friendly and helpful.. Biking distance from Efteling.

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα! Καθαρό, ζεστό, άνετο, πολύ καλά οργανωμένο σπίτι.Είχαμε την τύχη να δούμε και να ζήσουμε τη μεγαλύτερη χιονόπτωση των τελευταίων 10-15 ετών στην περιοχή και η θέα τριγύρω στη φύση ήταν μοναδική!!!Εξαιρετικά κοντά στο Efteling park.Εκπληκτικοί και φιλικοί οικοδεσπότες

In één woord fantastisch

Bij aankomst werden wij vriendelijk ontvangen door Marc en Gila. We kregen een rondleiding door hun prachtige huisje. Er stond zelfs een lekker flesje wijn klaar. Je hebt veel privacy, een rustige omgeving en voor kinderen staan er buiten speeltoestellen. Echt een aanrader

De schone en verzorgde accomodatie was heerlijk vertoeven. Het ontbrak ons aan niets. Een heerlijke grote prive tuin en ook voor de kleinkinderen was alles aanwezig

Prima plek om fietsend de omgeving te verkennen!

Fantastische locatie, je keek uit over de velden en weides met paarden, overal groen om je heen en complete rust en stilte. Het huisje was groot en modern en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben elke ochtend buiten onder de overkapping ontbeten en twee keer gebarbecued. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren erg aardig en gaven ons tips over de omgeving. Er stond zelfs een flesje wijn klaar. Zeker een aanrader als je niet voor de Efteling komt maar in de omgeving wil fietsen. Je fietst zo naar de Loonse en Drunense Duinen en zit ook niet ver van Den Bosch vandaan, wat een leuke stad is om te bezoeken. Een half uurtje rijden naar het noorden kun je Slot Loevestein bezoeken en de vestingsteden Woudrichem en Gorinchem.

Vriendelijke en warme overdracht! Men nam alle tijd om mij mee te nemen in het hoe en wat van het huis!.

Alles was gewoon goed, wat ik misschien mistte was wat opbergruimte voor eten etc in de keuken maar dit hinderde absoluut niet.
