Pleasant

Difficulty reaching the owner - partly due to a new booking.com update not working properly on my phone (fixed now), partly due to her not answering her phone when both I and her neighbor tried to call her (so several calls). Multiple neighbors stopped and none seemed to know the apartment was being rented to tourists. We were left waiting in the sun in 90+ degree heat for over 2 hours before she returned our call. We were finally checked in for 1 night around 7 pm - a terrible way to spend an afternoon. Hopefully, that is not a common occurrence. Be sure to read all of the policies before booking because there are important cash payment, room use, and cleaning policies. The property seems like a better match for weekly rentals than nightly rentals. Hair, grime and dirt on floor, bathroom and couch when we arrived. Also, she only allowed checkout the next morning between 6:30 am and 8:30 am. Expect to rise early to clean up other people's filth if you don't want fines. I felt like we should have been paid instead.

Very moderate.

Bathroom had stained shower screen and dirty soap dispenser. Guardian told us which beds to sleep in based on how easy they were to make. Guardian also requested I sweep the floor before leaving! Cheap linen and pillows. It was not a walk to town …v dangerous road with no pavement / footpath or lighting.

Price was not the issue, the dirty state of the apartment was!

The “balcony” was tiny, only room for one person to stand up in and it overlooks the main road between Uzes and Bagnols-sur-Cèze, therefore traffic noise during the day. The neighbors were partying until 4am! The apartment was dirty and when I pointed this out to the host she said “it’s a question of price”!!!! We will not be going back!

Short stay to meet up with friends living nearby.

Pool good and location to Uzès.

No one there to greet us. Difficult to find property and having to pay balance on arrival in cash. 50 euro per hour to clean property on departure if not done by us.

Appartement peu chauffé, de plus le radiateur a déclenché toute la nuit en faisant du bruit car le thermostat était bien trop bas pour la température :nous avons eu froid, les couettes des lits n’étaient pas mises dans les housses il a fallu les installer (à 170€ la nuit ce n’est pas tolérable), les étagères de la salle de bain étaient toutes poussiéreuses ; le couloir sentait très fort le tabac froid , nous avions oublié un vêtement le matin, ça était très difficile pour le récupérer, donc si vous pouvez éviter d’y loger , je vous conseille d’aller ailleurs.

Très chouette pour un court séjour.

La gentillesse de l'hôte, la proximité du centre de Uzès, la piscine, le calme. Les lits étaient confortables. Il y a absolument tout pour passer une nuit ou deux.

Het is jammer dat er geen terrasje/balkon is om buiten te kunnen zitten en eten.

Toller Aufenthalt an einem hoch interessanten Ort

Ein sehr schönes und liebevoll ausgestattetes Apartment in einer geschlossenen Wohnanlage. wir konnten mit dem Auto in der Wohnanlage direkt neben dem Apartment parken. Es war sehr ruhig und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir benötigten. Die Betten und die Couch im Wohnzimmer waren sehr bequem. Der Ort Uzes war toll, wir hatten das Glück den samstäglichen Markt in der Altstadt zu erleben. Wirklich sehenswert.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Es war super für eine Nacht, auch durchaus für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos.

Escale à Uzès

Appartement spacieux, bien équipé & propre, linges de lit et de toilette fournis. Accès à la piscine très agréable en plein été . Proche du cœur du très beau village d'Uzès (15 min à pieds). Hôte très sympathique.
