The location is pleasant—nestled among vineyards and surrounded by nature. However, if you rely on public transport, you have to wait quite a while for a ride into town. If you have your own car, it is still a fair drive to the city center. The breakfast is excellent, featuring typical local delicacies (butter, jam, honey, scrambled eggs, cheese, and prosciutto). However, the portions were too small; we left the table still quite hungry, as the servings seemed intended more for tasting than a full meal. We had expected a buffet, so we were somewhat disappointed on that front. The hostess was very friendly, as was the lady who served us at the table.

We missed having fruit at breakfast. We missed having a TV in the room (NetFlix, YouTube...)

Amazing place and people: it feels like home but with the comfort of a 4 start hotel. Breakfasts are small lunches and with high quality ingredients. The whole building is new and energy efficient, the room was amazingly comfortable.

Das Zimmer war sehr neu und schön, die Matratze bequem. Die Stadt ist mit dem Bus super erreichbar und auch am späten Abend gab es noch eine gute Verbindung zurück zum Hotel. Die Gastgeberinnen sind wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Garten ist wunderschön und direkt vom Zimmer aus zugänglich.

Leider hatten wir das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt neben der Frühstücksküche, daher war es schon früh am Morgen laut. Das Frühstück ist lecker und man bekommt alles und so viel man möchte, aber wie auch schon manche zuvor beschrieben haben, muss man alles einzeln (nach)bestellen, was etwas mühsam ist (aber vermeidet natürlich auch, dass Lebensmittel unnötig weggeworfen werden müssen wenn sich Leute zu viel am Buffet aufladen).
