Wasn’t made clear it was 1st floor flat Wasn’t made clear garden was outside 1st floor accommodation which was awkward as their patio window opened onto garden. Wouldn’t have booked if this was made clear

A very pleasant duplex 2 bedrooms!

Great assistance from owner and super helpful. The place is well maintained and upkeep with recent renovation, can see a lot of well thought out improvements.

Pervious renter must have ruined the set of frying pans.

It's a great place to stay. We liked walking through the meadow to the city.

the kitchen water tap should get some attention. It's rusty and I noticed a few times there's rusty bits in the water. At the surface you don't see. That's probably why it's there. Not a big thing, though. Everything else was excellent.

appalling bed bugs and host blamed me for it

On first arriving we were met by Susie who was very helpful. We enjoyed one night there and the property appeared clean.On the first morning of our holiday my son found bed bugs .I contacted the host who accused me of putting them into property.She was incredibly insulting and said "try and get a refund through booking .com and good luck with that" I explained I was more than happy to pay for the night we had used, but on finding bed bugs was not going to stay the second night. She refused my refund. This person has never met me or my son and her first response was to accuse me of planting live bed bugs in her property. I fully understand that even clean properties can have these problems but to have this levelled at me was appalling. I was asked to capture a bug and leave it in glass on the draining board as proof.I was also asked to send photos of bites. Thankfully we don't have any. The bed bugs were a problem but a bigger problem was the attitude the host. I would suggest that no one books this pace until it is fumigated and frankly the host has some training in customer services. I will be taking this further to obtain the refund.

I was willing to pay for the night we used and only wanted a refund for the second night having found bed bugs. Had this been a ruse as suggested I wouldn't have booked 2 nights in the first place.

A spacious house with a beautiful garden for a peaceful stay in Oxford

The house is a spacious three story house, with two bedrooms. Ground first is the entry, the floor above is the living/ kitchen/ bathroom (with a nice bath) and a bedroom with two single beds, and the third floor has a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a toilet room adjacent. The house has a beautiful back garden which makes for a perfect breakfast spot in nice weather. This is a perfect, spacious house with everything needed for a very relaxed stay in Oxford. The host was very kind and accommodating.

Comfortable property in great location for visiting Oxford. Well equipped kitchen. Second separate toilet a bonus. Pleasant 35 min walk into Oxford along shared cycleway. Bus stop right outside if you don't want to walk. Some road noise which did not bother us.

Excellent choice for 3-4 travellers. It has everything a traveller would need for an enjoyable stay.

Location - Easy access to the city centre via bus or taxi. Unit was very clean and well equipped. Our stay was exceptionally pleasant and comfortable. We were greeted by Sue when we arrived. She was friendly, ensured we had everything we needed and also got us a spare key as there were 4 of us staying there.

The stairs to access the second room is narrow. So it takes a bit of an effort to navigate a suitcase up the room.

Very spacious, Modern design. Fully equipped. Attached parking. Great hospitality by Sue. walking distance to a supermarket, a bar and 30 min walk to city center. Highly recommended.

Feeling at home

The house is very cosy and well furnished with modern equipment. Although we arrived late, we received a warm welcome from Sue and immediately felt at home. We also received great tips about places to go to, etc. The house is located not far from a main road, but from the house you don’t hear the cars. Very good cafe with home made pastries and great coffee 10min from the house by foot. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy it, there’s a big garden behind the house. We would love to come back!

Nice, Comfortable, Beautiful and Clean House

We liked mostly all the things and Susie support in calling Cab etc. preparing Patio and arranging things was all good.

The upper floor toilet. So uncomfortable to use the wash basin. You wouldn’t able to wash face and brush your teeth there properly as it is made in corner and slanting area.

Our stay at this property was pure joy!

Beautiful design, efficient use of space, truly impeccably clean! Felt like a home away from home! My teen sons fell in love with it at least as much as I did. :-)

It was a bit far from center of town for us, but the hosts were wonderful. When we had trouble booking a taxi during check out, Sue came to our rescue, called a taxi company on our behalf, and waited and had a lovely chat with us to ensure all was well with our pick up. Truly exceptional! Thank you!

Susan greeted us upon arrival, and gave us a tour of the place. The place is very well organized, beautiful and comfortable. Susan was very helpful to assist for any question. Place is a bit west of downtown, allowing a nice walk into the city via scenic paths. Convenience stores are 5 minutes away as well. We had a very enjoyable stay. Merci!

Spacious, very clean and furnished to high standard throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable seating area with Netflix TV. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom and additional separate toilet. Beautiful garden. Lovely walk across fields and by Thames into Oxford (2miles). Good location for exploring surrounding area.

Great place, highly recommended

Great place, super clean and really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden area and flat came with everything we needed including some little extras like milk and cakes which were a lovely touch. Also made use of the Netflix account. Parking is on the drive outside the property too so really convenient and there's a supermarket at the end of the road. Super easy to get taxi's into the centre of Oxford for about £6-7 and 10mins drive.

Road nearby is quite noisy - we stayed during a heatwave so it felt hot in the flat but was too noisy to have the windows open at night. When they were closed it was totally fine though so I think this would only apply if its really hot.
