Stairs to bedroom felt a bit scary

I would choose this accommodation again. What I wanted was a central location where I could feel like a part of the city for a few days, and that’s exactly what I got. The accommodation has a nice terrace overlooking one of the lively streets and is within easy walking distance to both the bus and train stations, from where you can easily take trips to destinations such as Matera, Alberobello, Lecce, Locorotondo, and nearby beaches. Communication and check-in were smooth and very helpful. You also receive a map of Bari with recommendations for focaccia places, bars, restaurants, and sights... which was really time-saving and useful. Note: I stayed in a larger room with a balcony.

Not that I disliked it, but if you are a light sleeper or cannot climb 20 stairs, just don’t choose accommodations like this in lively cities such as Bari. It could be noisy when doors are opened, but once they are closed, you can barely hear any street noise. Cleanliness could be a little better.

We liked the building despite the hallways/ stairs (not particularly clean) and the location near the stations and the bus stop. Convenient for travel in and around Bari. We liked the facilities - fridge, hob in separate kitchen, good shower. Bed upstairs was very comfortable. Good air conditioning. Mirror in the entranceway.

The apartment is small and the stairs up to the bedroom were quite precarious for older people like us. No rail for the lower three steps. Some of the elements of design are not well thought through eg the picture shelf above the bed, the rubbish bin which is noisy to open/close, the fact that the walls in the bedroom are curved and the bed is in the wrong position so you bump your head! The sofa bed is uncomfortable.
