BORGO MONTEMAGGIORE

This was the perfect Tuscan getaway for our family of 6. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The pool was great, the AC in every room was VERY much appreciated on 35 degree + days. The complimentary coffee and bottle of wine was most welcomed! The pool and of course the gorgeous views and sunsets were bellisimo!

There was a large 3 seater sofa, but not enough soft seating for us all. This is a very minor issue as the kids just had to sit at the dining table instead!

Very beautiful and quiet rustic location with splendid landscapes. The place is located on a side road and you definitely need a car, but this is also pretty clear from the description. We used it as a base to travel through Tuscany as the location is near Sienna. Hosts were very helpful and responsive: they arranged a self check-in as we could not arrive in their check-in time period. We also chose the wine and olive oil tasting, their products are high quality and the prices are good. Overall this was an excellent experience.

The mattress was a little bit stiff.

Un peu isolé de tout . Environ 20 minutes en voiture d’une épicerie . Long chemin pour monter à la maison et 1km sur un de terre ( besoin d’un bon véhicule). Le matelas devrait être changé car on sent les ressorts …

Una oasi di pace tra le colline toscane. Struttura pulitissima e accogliente, dotata di tutto il necessario per stare bene. Grande giardino intorno alla struttura che permette a tutti gli ospiti di avere la propria privacy e rilassarsi. Piscina pulitissima e con una vista bellissima sulle colline. Staff gentilissimo e molto accogliente: al check in ci è stato subito offerto un calice di benvenuto e appena entrati nella casa abbiamo trovato una bottiglia di vino omaggio prodotta da loro. Complimenti davvero, torneremo sicuramente per godere di questo luogo meraviglioso.

Qualche piccolo insetto fa da padrone nella casa, ma per noi non è stato assolutamente un problema. La strada per arrivare al borgo presenta diverse buche e potrebbe essere un problema nei mesi con piogge, potrebbe essere un pochino sistemata per rendere il passaggio più agevolato.
