Podere Mencoini, stylish villa with private pool and olive garden

Our family of seven (three of us 60s and four 30 year olds!) stayed for one week but would have loved to stay longer! Everyone loved the villa. The host Margherita was super nice, helpful and responsive. She arranged for her chef to prepare dinner for us at the villa. We chose the Under the Tuscan Sun menu and we were not disappointed! The meal was delicious and the chef was fun and professional. We enjoyed our dinner outdoors in one of the covered dining areas. The description of the villa and grounds was accurate but even better in person. It was a real plus to have 7 very private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The pool and A/C were a real plus and WiFi was very good. While the villa/grounds are in a very private setting, we were just ten minutes from five nice grocery stores, including a CoOp, as well as several restaurants. This was the perfect base location to venture out and enjoy the Tuscany area. We walked to Scrofiano one morning to take in the views. Our one regret is that we didn't make it back to Scrofiano to the wine bar owned by our host. It looked really nice and would have been a perfect addition to our trip. The villa was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking! The linens were very nice- with plenty of real towels (not the thin material often found in Europe). It was nice to have a washing machine and a clothesline available. We enjoyed waking up to the birds and we even heard a cuckoo bird! if there is an open spot on the calendar, I would highly recommend renting Podere Mencoini Villa!

Die Unterkunft bietet so einiges. Unglaubliche Lage, wunderschönes Haus, coole Zimmer (inkl. Badezimmer) einen schönen Pool und der Umschwung ums Haus ist unbeschreiblich. Margherita von der Unterkunft stand uns stets zur Verfügung und liess keine Fragen offen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt

Es ist jammern auf hohem Niveau, jedoch ist die Einrichtung (v.a. Küche und Zimmer) ein wenig abgebutzt und teils kaputt. Ansonsten kann man sich echt nicht beschweren!
