Milena was so hospitable and obliging, nothing was too much trouble for her. She met us personally on arrival and organised several extras which we really enjoyed. All her supporting staff were also very friendly. We had two delicious meals organised by Milena and her team, who were also mindful of the children in our party. Cooking facilities and equipment were also provided, with each room well having a kitchenette and fridge. Air con in all bedrooms (although not always needed, depending on which room you have).
I also recommend the wine tasting at Tenuta Vineyard just down the road from the villa - we were very well looked after there.
The view across the valley was one of the highlights - it was stunning to be surrounded by open countryside.
Countryside views come at the cost of convenience - factor in a generous helping of time for getting to the shops and be mindful of the gravel roads to the commune. One way out of the commune is a lot less scary than the other!
