There is everything you need for a short and medium stay. The apartment is fully equipped. The area is very quiet. Better to have a car to get to the city centre, otherwise you won’t be able to come back in the night.

The phone number provided on booking is not correct. As I booked for 18 nights an apartment that had no reviews at that point, it would have been good to have the opportunity to talk with who is managing the property. I asked for a number that worked, I was asked to call the next day. I tried three times and none neither replied to me nor called me back. I think it’s essential to have a phone number even only to be able to contact someone in case of emergencies.

Good parking and not too far from the historic centre of Lucca. Responsive owner who addressed a minor issue at the beginning of our stay.

This place is ok for one or two nights. Afterwards it starts to wear on you. You feel like you are camping rather than at an appartment. The bed is a bunk bed so not recommended for older or people with mobility issues. The kitchenware is sparse and not enough to prepare a full meal. Booking advertises that there is a toaster and an oven but there aren't any. There is a microwave however. You will find an iron and a hairblower but nowhere to plug it into and no adapter for those types of small appliances Finally the bathroom protruded a foul smell throughout our stay. The hot water is sporadic going from warm to cold while showering without anyone else either flushing the toilet or using the kitchen faucet. There were some issues with the toilet not flushing however the owner was very responsive and quickly sent someone to address the issue These are all minor inconveniences that can be easily rectified turning this place into a nice little accommodation.
