Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax.

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

Mr POV goes above and beyond in every aspect for his guests. From offering a free pickup from the bus to organising an affordable jungle trek for me as a solo traveller he is extremely thoughtful and kind. Although the property is a little way out of town the food is amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Very nice and authentic accommodation. You basically live with a cambodian family in a house which is their home and your homestay at the same time. The host speaks english very well, I had plenty of very interesting conversations with him. The location is nice, very quite and surrounded by other farmer families. I would definitely stay there again! The dinner was delicious!

Peaceful, being accommodated by the one adult there at the time into ones young family, the food.

I'm reluctant to criticize but with all glowing reviews I will a little biut one thin blanket wasn't enough, to flush the toilet you needed to put your hand to the bottom of the cistern and lift the rubber (clean water) one very thin pillow stiffened my neck but if visitors now have a new flowery thick blue pillow I donated it. You can thank me.☺️ No furniture.
