Tonle Mekong Homestay

Excellent family homestay. Very accommodating, delicious meals prepared by homeowners for breakfast and dinner. Fantastic tuktuk tour with the owner Mr Sok. Our favourite experience to date - highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to be welcomed into the family home, all of whom were incredibly friendly and helpful. A truly different experience from other home-stays, embedded in rural Cambodia with livestock and (early) morning markets which only add further to the experience. Evening meals were delicious and generous for $3 and served at 19.00 with your fellow guests. We also thoroughly enjoyed, and would recommend, the full day tour by Mr Sok which started with Irrawaddy Dolphins and then Tuk-Tuk exploration of the surrounding villages. You see so much of daily Khmer life and industry whilst also being able to say hello to many many children who are delighted to see you and love the opportunity to practice English. Mr Sok also kindly gave us a ride to the bus station when we were leaving.

It would be very hard to find something to dislike! It was a great experience.

Very nice room. Nice family too. Good if you want to see dolphins as they can drive you there. They cooked the best food too
