I booked this place as it came up as one of the best places to stay in Selerno. But it is off the beaten path and challenging to find. It’s in what appears to be an apartment complex in a crowded neighborhood. So, if you want to feel part of Salerno daily life, this might be a place for you. As a woman traveling alone, I felt uncomfortable there and didn’t want to wander after dark, though I was told I would be fine. It’s in an area with a maze of streets, so not initially intuitive to find your way around. The proprietor was kind, as we did our best to communicate via google translate.

No one is on the premises if you need help or guidance, but he’s available to contact via WhatsApp. The room was plain, comfortable and the breakfast was standard coffee and croissant. No one was there to supervise, and I had to call to let him know I would be checking out a day early.
