    Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and just plain nice. Loved this cute little hotel. No amenities (which we like as I don’t want to pay for things we don’t need). Close to everything, next to Waterloo station, can’t hear a thing so quiet, a short walk to Big Ben across Westminster Bridge. Fabulous restaurants close by, lots of variety. Will definitely be back if we’re in London. Thank you.

    Decided to book this hotel after seeing all the pictures and reading the good reviews. Location is great, minutes walk from Waterloo Underground with major lines running through. Everything was good except for a disappointment right on my first day. When i went to check in at 3pm I asked if I could get a room facing the main street. I was told I needed to wait another half an hour for the room which I did. Went back at 3.30pm and checked in, got to my room, unpacked them pull the curtains apart and it was not the view I requested for. It was facing the dreary wall of the adjacent building. I saw pictures of this and wanted to make sure I did not get this view if I could help it. By then I had already unpacked and had no wish to repack and asked for a change of room as I needed to rush out for an appointment. On my way out I asked the same staff who gave me my room and said it was not the facing I requested for. It was only then he took out some layout map of the rooms and checked and said “oh!”. It’s not a biggie but it is very disappointing to not get the room I was promised especially after waiting for an extra half an hour despite needing to rush off for my appointment :( The mini bar at the lift lobby is a great idea but bottled waters could have been provided in each room. Also, if you have heavy or big luggage and need to check out after 9am, you will need to pull your luggage to the main street about 50m away or so as the street outside the hotel is closed to traffic after 9am. And you have to call your own uber. The staff said they can’t help with that.
