    Overall I am satisfied with our stay. My only regret was that we should stay a little bit longer.

    I arrived at the hotel at around 9pm to find the room had not been cleaned since the last person had used it - photos attached show an unchanged/unmade bed, used towels hung over the shower and washing up in the sink. When I called to get this resolved I was told nothing could be done until morning - I was expected just to stay the night in someone else's dirt. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was informed they don't work "at this time". Again, in a customer-focused business I am shocked that there was no-one I could speak to at a senior level. To be offered zero assistance in finding somewhere else to stay, at around 9pm at night was also incredibly frustrating and stressful.

    Although there are no front of house staff, this does not matter, at all. Secure door codes get you in. The room is brilliant. A small but well appointed bathroom, with excellent shower, a small but perfect kitchenette with enough prep equipment to make simple meals, plus microwave. An extremely comfortable Super King sized bed and bedding. Aircon. The location, in Lower Marsh is like a small community with loads of small bars and restaurants. You hardly need to go more than 50 yards from the accommodation to enjoy excellent food and drink. With a big soundproofing door shut, there is no noise whatsoever, even though trains from Waterloo pass by within about 50 feet. A really brilliant find, for us. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip to London.

    Having contacting the staff several times and being promised the blinds that were broken up my arrival would be fixed, I slept for two nights there with the blinds wide open thanks to a very unconcerned and remote staff. There's no reception on site, so you're at the mercy of a random WhatsApp number. Bear that in mind, and hope to God everything already works whenever you're checking in...
