Royal flats Old Town

The Royal Old Flats were a perfect location for visiting the old town, the shops & numerous yummy restaurants inside & around the square. Kasia was a wonderful host Lots of clear communication from the beginning & it made the start of our holiday so much easier. The flat was equipped with everything you could possibly need & the large fan was a blessing with the temperatures high whilst we were there. Comfy clean bed, netflix a real bonus & Kasia even provided water & a selection of sweets & goodies at our arrival. A fantastic price 👌, & perfect location. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Kasia 🌸

3 x sets of stairs leading up to the flat, but to be fair, you walk more than that whilst visiting Krakow. My 25 year old daughter managed it with ease, at 60 I guess I'm less fit 😃.

We stayed three nights, 4 adults 1 toddler in the larger of the two flats offered by the host. Our apartment window faces onto the busy pedestrian only Grodzka St of old town -i believe the other apartment faces a courtyard. We made a late addition of the 4th adult to our booking for an additional fee, as expected. The main room functions as a combined living room and bedroom. Kasia the host is excellent, she is very attentive and thoughtful, and communication was swift and efficient. Check in instructions very clear. Apartment was very clean. Great shower pressure. Location was very convenient. Kitchen was adequately stocked, appreciated the coffee and tea options and snacks /bottled water on arrival.

Bathroom is tight, the sink is really small. Creaky floor boards in the main room. Sofa bed when folded out the longer side is the length of the sofa itself as opposed to being longer folded out- best just for 1 " full sized " adult or two smaller people. Not a negative for us but a couple of considerations for some future guests as it faces onto a heavily pedestrianed st, you do get the street noise with windows open but it does get much quieter after 10pm at night, and it's on 3rd floor with no elevator.

Location Cleanliness

The apartment was in the city center, a little grocery store right next door. Apartment is spacious and clean. The beginning of our stay was good, the host meet us, we arrived around 1 am. So in this part everything was great.

The host has a remote control of heating. During the time when we stayed in the apartment host would just constantly turn off the heating and turn it on only when I will text and ask... So it was freezing cold inside of the apartment. In the end of our stay we got sick. The wifi connection was poor as well, some days I wasn't even able to have a video call.
