Fragola Apartments Old Town

The apartment was well situated, very clean and had everything you could want.

Location. Convenience. Good communication. Nice place let down by the balcony

The balcony pictures are vague and quite misleading. Its not a 'courtyard" view. Its a block of flats 10ft opposite the air-conditioner sits out there and it's like a big hot fan blowing across the balcony

The apartmnent was lovely except for the walking very quiet.

We arrived at 4.00 p.m. and we had not received any information about how to enter the property by email, so we had to search for a taxi and make our way to the reception, the man was very helpful and we got the information we needed so we had to get another taxi back to the apartment and gained entry. I would like to add that this was not Fragola Apartments but Contempo Apartments which is 20 minutes away from the town centre. Fragola messaged me to say this apartment was more suitable for us as we are elderly how wrong they were the apartment was quiet but a 20 minute hike into town everyday we are both in our seventies we got a taxi there and back on the first couple of days but found it to expensive so decided to walk into town and get a taxi back to the apartment, we had no complaints about the apartment it was ideal except for the walk into town, but now wish we had stayed in Fragola as it was in the centre of town, I sould have complained at the reception, to late now.

The apartment itself was clean and nicely furnished

The main issue was the location. The location shown when I booked was not the actual location of the apartment. After paying a 1,000 PLN security deposit, I received a different location. When I asked about it, I was told that they have many apartments and the location shown on Booking is their office. This was disappointing, especially considering the price. The actual apartment was also very inconvenient with luggage, as cars cannot reach it directly. There are stairs and a long walk over cobblestone streets, which made carrying our luggage very difficult. I believe the exact apartment location should be clearly communicated before booking. Personally, I would not stay with them again and would not recommend them because of the lack of transparency regarding the location.
