Casa La Poyata - Taganana

Am revenit aici a doua oară :) Și cu siguranță vom mai veni! Ne place și casa și zona!

Seconda volta alla Poyata ci siamo trovati molto bene come l'ultima volta notando che sono state fatte delle migliorie come fare una cucina nuova con il piano a induzione (prima era a gas) e la lavatrice nuova. La casa è molto particolare e questo secondo me è il suo punto di forza: per accedere a tutte le stanze si passa dall' atrio esterno che fa pure da veranda per mangiare fuori (c'è pure un'altra tettoia sotto dove c'è la zona barbecue). Sicuramente ci torneremo Taganana già un po' mi manca 🥲

Unica miglioria che consiglio è di dare una revisionata alle serrature di tutte le porte che sono un pelo dure, in particolare cambierei il sistema di serrature della camera 2 (quella a piano terra) perché c'è il rischio di rimanere chiusi dentro.

Parkeren was lastig, fijner als dit vooraf beter is aangegeven. Meer theedoeken/handdoeken in de keuken zou fijn zijn en misschien iets van een paraplu voor als het regent en je moet naar je slaapkamer boven.

The property itself is lovely, comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction noise from the property next door. Taganana is a nice pretty town with a couple of restaurants and bars and a small adequate grocery store. There are excellent hiking options nearby.

The property next door was undergoing significant construction work with loud noise (drilling) between 8am and 7pm. You could argue this is not the fault of the property itself, but looking at the construction it was clear that these construction activities were ongoing for a longer time. It basically meant you could not sit outside on any of the terraces because of all the noise. I felt the property should have informed me of this in advance so I could have made an informed decision on whether or not to stay there. In the end I shortened my stay because of it. I experienced the communication with the property as very haphazard. You get lots of automated messages with requests to provide all kind of information online in advance but in addition I received whatsapp message from a local representative requesting additional/partly conflicting information. When complaining about the construction noise I also got very different messages, first that they would take care of it and then later (when they did nothing) that I should contact booking.com. The location of the property is not properly marked on the map that booking.com provides. The entrance is located in a back alley, accessible via a narrow, steep path with stairs. The property is on 3 levels, so do not carry around lots of luggage. The closest distance you can park your car at is is at about 250m. Small details; you have about 5-6 different keys to manage because all rooms have separate locks/keys. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but a lot of the pots and pans had loose handles.
