Prachtige locatie, mooi uitzicht, heerlijke bedden

Parkeren was lastig, fijner als dit vooraf beter is aangegeven. Meer theedoeken/handdoeken in de keuken zou fijn zijn en misschien iets van een paraplu voor als het regent en je moet naar je slaapkamer boven.

Great location with beautiful views. There’s plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen, beds are comfortable. There’s rooftop access and a nice barbecue spot. Great communion with the owners.

Not the best option for the colder, humid weather (example: to acces the bathroom from the bedroom you need to cross through the covered patio; the stairs between the two levels can get wet from the rain). Some outlets do not work. The locks on the doors are fiddly. No automatic dryer for wet towels (understandable, but would be helpful).

Prachtige locatie in doodlopend straatje in idyllisch dorpje. Fijne slaapkamers, veel buitenruimte, complete keuken en buitenkeuken. Niet erg maar iets om te weten: veel trapjes, kamers op verschillende niveaus en meeste zitjes zijn buiten (wel heel privé en afgeschermd). Als het koud is is de keuken te verwarmen en kun je er met beetje passen ook wel met 7 in.

The property itself is lovely, comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction noise from the property next door. Taganana is a nice pretty town with a couple of restaurants and bars and a small adequate grocery store. There are excellent hiking options nearby.

The property next door was undergoing significant construction work with loud noise (drilling) between 8am and 7pm. You could argue this is not the fault of the property itself, but looking at the construction it was clear that these construction activities were ongoing for a longer time. It basically meant you could not sit outside on any of the terraces because of all the noise. I felt the property should have informed me of this in advance so I could have made an informed decision on whether or not to stay there. In the end I shortened my stay because of it. I experienced the communication with the property as very haphazard. You get lots of automated messages with requests to provide all kind of information online in advance but in addition I received whatsapp message from a local representative requesting additional/partly conflicting information. When complaining about the construction noise I also got very different messages, first that they would take care of it and then later (when they did nothing) that I should contact booking.com. The location of the property is not properly marked on the map that booking.com provides. The entrance is located in a back alley, accessible via a narrow, steep path with stairs. The property is on 3 levels, so do not carry around lots of luggage. The closest distance you can park your car at is is at about 250m. Small details; you have about 5-6 different keys to manage because all rooms have separate locks/keys. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but a lot of the pots and pans had loose handles.
