Paradise!

The list is to long. Everything! From the moment I walked through the gate, where I was already greeted and helped by someone with my luggage, the tour of the establishment and where to find everything, till the moment I stepped into my suite. The service was a 10/10. Every single person I had contact with went above and beyond to answer any questions and to make sure I am being taken care off. Jeanette, the host was constantly in contact to check in. She even organised a cheese and charcuterie board for me, for free. All queries and questions were promptly answered. The views were out of this world. It was peaceful and so serene. The suite was beyond beautiful. I am coming back soon.

À Huge disappointment

I liked the idea of booking a beautiful place for the weekend. The noise of very young children playing and laughing in the courtyard on Sunday morning.

The interior decoration of the apartment. The dilapidated condition of the apartment. The countless old objects and trinkets cluttering the apartment. The name Luxury Seaview Apartment — pompous and misleading titles. The definition ) of the jacuzzi. The geographical location of the apartment. The soundproofing of the place. The quality and the schedule of the breakfast. The quality of the sparkling wine The value for money. A heavily worn-out building that requires major renovation. The electrical system — the cables, extension cords, and wires everywhere. The excessive number of drapes throughout the apartment. The fact that the windows were completely opaque. The check-out time. But what really stood out was the overall suffocating atmosphere, especially compared with all the seaside apartments I’ve stayed in when visiting the Cape. The cleanliness of the bedsheet. What I also disliked was the cleanliness of the pool, and the fact that the pool is located right on the street. A huge disappointment.

All in all a pleasant experience but a little work needs to be done to justify the rate

Host was very welcoming and recommended a few great local attraction and activities within the area. The apartment was equipped with an honesty bar which made it convenient for us. The apartment also has some great lighting features which is rather romantic

the apartment needs maintenance, Blinds aren't in good condition. The bath jets don't work properly, light bulbs needs to be replaced and some taps aren't working properly

Great experience with small changes needed.

The view was incredible and the bed was very comfortable. The penthouse was very homely and well equipped. The honesty bar was well stocked and well priced. Plenty of places to eat nearby and fantastic tidal pool a few minutes walk away (across rocks but worth it!)

No air conditioning in the living room. There were some items needing some attention with as door handle to the 2nd bathroom and AC unit leaking in main bedroom. Staircase was very narrow which made carrying luggage difficult (other rooms should be fine though!) off street parking is limited.

The view of Strand and Gordons Bay and the Hottentots-Holland Mountains in the background is breath taking. Best was the crashing of the waves right in front of our room. Magnificent!

The view was just amazing. Loved the jacuzzi bath. Jeanette was very helpful suggesting adventures for us and places to eat. Great decor in the suites and general areas. Nice little pool deck too.

Simply perfect!

Perfect location with a stunning view of the sea and the Cape peninsula. Beautiful accommodation that is very well designed and breaths history, art and personal care. Host and owner Jeanette lover to share the stories behind the art and also helps to plan or discover activities. All other staff was extremely friendly as well and makes sure they take care of the guests. Easy accessible, parking available and the public area in Gordon's Bay is remarkable clean and well maintained.

There was a small issue with the plumbing that will be fixed.

Great sunny room with a view of the sea

We could see the sea and the harbour directly from our bed. We could sunbathe and relax on our terrace. Breakfast was also served there, which was incredibly relaxing for us. The room is high and spacious. We had the Premier Suite ‘Wavecrest Luxury Suite’. The team was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Delicious pancakes. From there, it was only a few steps to the rustic restaurant ‘The Thirsty Oyster’, where we had a good dinner.

I felt like I'd found my little piece of heaven. It was amazing!

We were so lucky to have picked a weekend where the weather was unseasonally hot which made it possible to sleep with the sliding door open so I could hear the waves all night. The staff were super friendly and the actual facilities were top notch! There was nothing you could need that wasn't already thought of! The whole area is absolutely gorgeous.

The only thing that was a downer was the piece of wire sticking out on the side of the mattress. The bed was still very comfortable to sleep on but having not noticed the wire, it was uncomfortable when getting out of bed if you put your leg over in that spot. Everything else was incredible!!!! Thank you so much!

Great location and view of the ocean from units.

The location and view of the ocean from the Studio Apartment is great. The other consideration we enjoyed was that the studio apartment had private entry and exit from the property. Overall a Great Stay. The Wi-Fi was decent for streaming services on TV.

The Bed needs replacement. The toilet in the bathroom is really cramped / small for tall patrons. We phoned to check out early due to flights, but the keys were not taken from us. We requested servicing of the room due to us leaving later than expected the Saturday, and the room was not services. Small things that can be improved on. We also enjoyed Breakfast on the Friday morning. We are still waiting to hear if there is a final bill... due to our early departure and attempted calls to get ahold of the property.
