It’s a bit of a walk to the center which was no problem at all for us.

It is a great property. The view is amazing and there is a balcony. The place itself is very nice and comfortable. Teresa was great. I’ve never gotten better and such clear directions. She was so kind and responded immediately when we had any questions. Such a great place to stay with such an amazing view!

Perfectly located to see Matera , Casastella gave us a warm welcome from Manuela, in a beautifully renovated “cave “ dwelling, with domed ceiling and a fantastic room with an incredible bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and we then had a tuktuk take us around to see the very hilly town. The driver was Manuela’s son, Andrea! Casastella is a great family affair! Highly recommended!

Manuella est une femme absolument formidable très accueillante et de bon conseil. Les chambres sont belles et surtout très propres. Quand au petit déjeuner il est copieux et complet .
