Bathroom had no window or air supply and did smell pretty bad when we arrived and it got worse probably because it was coming from the sinks and the moisture after showering

The rooms were really big good for family

Due to the pictures we were led to believe we booked the room with pool which we were told we hadnt so felt deceived. Staff led us up steep stairs to a room which we had to refuse due to younger children so they gave us another which had wood round to support stairs. It is not beach front and not sea views which was in the description. Staff are no where to be found unless you walk down to the bar , youbare expected to leave your room key there if you want room cleaned. Staff very disinterested We were told Staff would take us to port for boat free of charge we got down there at 8am and was told no its only free from 9am 😂 WiFi is terrible and the whole resorts power kept cutting out on a loop every hour or so Hot water is hot and miss. Not worth £700 for 5 night in my opinion also noisy work going on which we didnt know about right across from our room ! It was raining so time spend in room listening to construction from 8am

AVOID THIS PLACE

Here’s why: 1. There is no pool in the resort, only private ones of the pricier villas. When I asked about this, they claimed that it did not say this in their website. Well according to Google’s ”official” home place this is clearly not the truth. They offered me to move to another villa with private pool with additional cost, which I declined. 2. I asked the reception twice to spray my room because of small ants and some tiny bugs in my bed (!). Either they use a totally fragrant-free spray or just did nothing. I suspect the latter. 3. My safety box’s battery cover was loose so one time a battery fell out so did not work. Luckily the box was open at the time. Again I asked the reception to change it but oddly enough, the cover was still loose (they claimed that the box had been changed). Decided not to use the box at all, otherwise all my important stuff could have been locked there for good. 4. Even if the resort is not at the heart of Sairee beach nightlife, a place 100 meters away hosts beach parties every couple of days. The bass from this and also from the resort’s own bar had me sleeping with ear plugs all of the pre-paid 5 nights. If there is something positive to say, I appreciated that they had informed guests about construction work at their premises. The work did not start before 9 a.m. and stopped before sundown so it did not affect my stay at all.

An okay stay

The room was extremely spacious, and kept clean by staff every day. Good location close to the beach.

There aren't any public/shared areas, so there's nowhere to "chill". Although it's near the beach, it's not actually on the beach, so you'll have to rent a sunbed from a nearby restaurant. There's a pool close by too, and you can use that if you buy a drink from their bar. No WiFi in rooms.

Disappointed

Position was good on the beachfront being just outside the hi traffic areas.

Bare minimum of help from front desk for us as my wife injured her ankle and couldn't walk. They have an in-house motorcycle with sidecar that could of been used to take her to the medical doctor. . Asked if that was possible but no, it was only for guests to go to the ferry? Had to get a cab ($B600)but it cannot get to the front door as the street is narrow and we had to hop 30m to pick up point. Rooms have lists of fines and costs for damages to individual items. I'm sure there's been issues in the past but there was very little in comforts and accessories included in the room. Towels supplied were the same as we wash the dog with at home, useful but nearly threadbare. A request to have a takeaway breakfast for my wife had to travel up 3 levels of management for approval. If AC2 is on your shortlist, go with one of the others....

A nice enough place, great location but not worth the money

The rooms were nice enough beds were comfy,there was a mini fridge in the rooms which was lovely. The location was perfect for us as a group of girls wanting to go out and enjoy the nightlife

however the air conditioning didn’t work in one of our rooms and it was very hot and uncomfortable. There were ants/ bugs in the rooms on the lockers. There were 2 lizards in one of our rooms which wasn’t pleasant. The bathroom windows were fixed open and were not able to be closed so the bathrooms were roasting hot. On the photos online there was a pool advertised how ever there was no pool upon arrival. There was also noise pollution as a result of a DJ playing most of the day and night. If you wanted a cleaning service you had to specifically request it and leave your key. This includes new toilet roll and towels.

Good hotel but disappointing staff

Property has a good location and the room offered everything we needed. I specifically liked that the airconditioning cooled the room down perfectly without blowing air into our faces at night. The rain shower was also sublime with high water pressure.

Staff was not the most customer-friendly. Ignored us when we tried to check out, didn’t inform us about maintenance works during which there were loud wall drilling noises and no water so we weren’t aware of it and in the restaurant they didn’t seem to care about us really. Such a shame considering everything else was excellent.

Disappointment

Almost nothing

AC2 has changed a lot. You get a formal response to all requests – "sorry, we can't" or "we don't have that." There was no responsiveness, everything is clear according to the price list. New cottages are being built on the territory and old ones are being added. Two weeks before arrival Booking.com warned me that construction was underway and asked if I would leave a reservation? But it was not clear from this message that the construction would take place right under your door, at your window. In this case, it was necessary to lower the price, or warn your future guests in LARGE RED letters that the construction is being carried out right in the center of the hotel! Previously, buffet breakfast was included in this hotel, but now they are not. They could also put water under the door if we didn't need a tidy room, but we had to go and ask for water at the reception. Bungalows are getting older every year and they need care. I regret that I booked AC2, I should have taken another one.

Lovely Stay

Loved the room! It was super comfortable. Food at the restaurant was great value and delicious! Staff were supremely helpful and kind.

The location can be a bit creepy. We found out about the Ko Tao murders and realized we were literally at crime scenes. We didn't stay out late as a result.

The hotel is situated at a busy beach with a big nightlife. People looking for a quite and lonely surrounding might not be at the right address at ACtwo. People looking for proximity to bars, restaurants and the rest of the island, will have the right fit wit ACtwo.

It is alright

The size of the rooms were great. Very big. And the location was fabulous.

Our room was dirty, smelt of damp, mould on the walls and riddled with bugs. There were cockroaches and lizards. Also no one ever came to clean our room and we stayed there for a week.

service could have been better. we waited 16 minutes one morning for a coffee whilst there was 9 staff standing around the bar. 2 of these staff then went and made their own coffees while we were waiting & sat down drinking them in front of us. we stood up to get their attention, they did not seem phased by the fact we were waiting so long.

Perfect location

The rooms are decorated in an unique way (we stayed at S2) and the staff was very helpful in providing all the information needed prior to our stay. The pickup/dropoff service from the pier was super appreciated
