Lovely views, great location, comfy lounge but wouldn’t stay again

The view from the property is great. The sofas were comfy & the kitchen well stocked.

The property only has one tiny opening window & it isn’t in the main living space, which means significant amounts of moisture builds up, particularly as part of the property is a basement flat. There is a dehumidifier but it does little to help. Access to the driveway requires you to stop on a bend of a main road & then reverse back down it which isn’t that safe & often led to us getting beeped by drivers unhappy that we had to stop there, even with us pulling to the side. One of the bedrooms doesn’t have an exterior window. No freestanding bathroom - both are en-suites which is fine unless like us you have a sleeping child in each room for the evening so can’t go to the loo without waking them. No dishwasher. Clear animosity between the owner of the property & the owner of the tea rooms next door. Didn’t appreciate being dragged into stories of arguments & discontent when trying to get a morning coffee!

Great apartment in an excellent location

The apartment is in a great location with amazing views of the Arrochar Alps. The apartment itself is small but cozy with 2 bedrooms, both ensuite which was really good. The apartment is well furnished and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay.

A fabulous stay in Arrochar, in a lovely apartment with great weather!

The property is ideally situated overlooking Loch Long. The property is very comfortable and a home from home. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. A lovely welcome pack and even our dog Raasay got a blanket, towels and gravy bones.

Amazing location with stunning views from the sofa!

Location was perfect, right on Loch Long with a view of the Cobbler and other mountains from the living room window and with its own parking space.

It was clean and very well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay with a really well equipped kitchen. The only things that let it down for us was the lack of hot water feed to the bathroom sinks, meaning we had to shave in the kitchen, also the ensuite electric showers were pretty weak, other than those 2 minor issues it was excellent.

Lovely apartment in spectacular setting

Excellent location to explore the Highlands and for local walks. The apartment has stunning views of Loch Long and surrounding mountains from the comfortable lounge. Hosts very responsive and we appreciated the welcome basket with prosecco and crisps, plus the doggie basket with treats, bowl etc. Secure garden for dogs with outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the views. Off road parking very useful. We're able to park 2 cars (Polo and Clio). Apartment very clean, kitchen well equipped, compact bedrooms with ensure showers..Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 day stay and would recommend the Arrochar Alps apartment.

The fridge is smaller than we expected which is useful to be aware of for longer stay self catering, but Local shop well stocked for supplies. Basins in the ensuite shower rooms very small.

We annoyed our time at the apartment. It's in a great location looking over the ever changing Loch Long. We personally found it a bit dark with some damp issues which are trying to be addressed. None the less a comfortable stay.

Superb location for exploring the area. Breathtaking view of mountains from the garden. Good space, not at all pokey. Would very happily stay there again if visiting the area.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, beds were very comfy, the showers were nice and hot and powerful, and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils as well as tea/coffee etc. The location was superb, very handy for local restaurants and beautiful walks as well as accessing the main roads out to Glasgow and Oban for days out. The welcome basket was also very much appreciated.

It was quite cold in the apartment, so we made good use of the heating (very easy to use) and blankets to stay cosy.

Stunning views, relaxing environment for a lovely 4 days

Excellent views, clean property, good kitchen and well stocked crockery & glasses etc. TV & Wifi were excellent. Lounge lovely and spacious with stunning Loch views. Bed was comfy.

parking area was difficult via a steep driveway. The bathroom Sinks were the smallest I have ever seen. Just big enough for hands. The oven took along time to heat up. Wardrobe space was not big and for a longer stay would pose achallenge. Everything else was fine. Storage heater in lounge was very complex. A very complicated waste bin collection service was hard to work out and to be honest, apart from emptying bins on our last day, is not something we anticipated we would be expected to fulfill mid week.

Exceeded our expectations - the view is absolutely outstanding

Bottle of prosecco from the hosts greatly appreciated on arrival. The apartment is in a superb location. The views are outstanding. It was so lovely to sit at the dining table in the living room for meals and look out at the loch, hills and mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and also has an area to hang up coats. We were provided with ample towels and two clothes drying rails. There is also a dehumidifier to help dry the clothes. The apartment is in a great location for lots of walking trails - the Three Lochs Way is easily accessible at the rear of the apartment and the Ben Narnain trail is accessible on the other side of the loch. Loch Lommond is less then 10 minutes away via car, and there are lots of other places to visit within reasonable driving distances. We will definitely be going back again.

The location was superb with beautiful views of the Loch and the mountains. The host gave us good instructions on how to find the property, which was lovely and warm on arrival. The Christmas tree was an added bonus!

The settee in the lounge was not very comfortable. There was very little space for our clothes in the bedrooms. Some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. We kept banging our heads on the light over the kitchen table.
