Inishail is a beautiful character property dating back to 1800s with all the benefits of modern day living. Located on the shore of Loch Linnie it boasts stunning loch and mountain views. The property is ideally situated for exploring all the Scottish Highlands and West Coast of Scotland has to offer. With great access to Fort William and Oban by car, bicycle or foot as the Sustrans Fort William to Oban cycle path runs directly adjacent to the property. It's enclosed, private garden is a safe place for children and pets to enjoy!

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: Due to the age of the property the stair case to the bedrooms is narrow and steep, with small steps. This may not be suitable for young children or people with mobility issues.

Sleeps 4+ Ideal for families and couples. Full of charm and character, with high ceilings, fireplaces, decorated and furnished with a modern high quality finish.

Cosy living room with breath taking loch and mountain views includes a log burner (logs not included) 3 seater sofa and two comfortable chairs, large TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. Wifi available. Dining area which seats 6. Well equipped kitchen includes Halogen hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer box. Spacious ground floor Family Bathroom with electric shower over the bath. Ground floor shower room and W/C an added bonus.

Two comfortable bedrooms, one kingsize and one twin, with two single beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living room, guests must request extra bedding if they plan to use the sofa bed. Travel cot available.

Oil-fired central heating and hot water throughout with the bonus of the log burner for extra warmth in the winter months. Logs & kindling are not included, they can be purchased from the garage in Glencoe.

Great property away from busy Glencoe, with great views of a Loche, with a walking path out the front. It had everything we required for a few days exploring the area. We often resided in the front room to observe the view. Stunning.

We had a very pleasant stay at Inishail Cottage. It has a very quaint and homey feel, and was perfectly situated between Fort William and Glencoe for exploring the area and doing some great hiking. Also magnificent mountain view right out the front window!

Overall a very nice place to stay and we generally had a positive experience. One issue was waste management - the recycle bins were all full (almost overflowing) and obviously there had been no collection in weeks (months?). Tried to contact the owner about this but there was no response.

The property has fabulous views over a loch and to mountains beyond. The bathroom was nice and large and the kitchen, with dishwasher and washer/dryer, and dining area are nice. The stairs are narrow and steep and the ceiling in the bedrooms are low so mind your head! Overall a nice property ideal for exploring the Glencoe area and

What a beautiful property, ideally located with a superb view of the loch and central to everywhere we wanted to visit with beautiful walks 5 mins away. The cottage had everything we needed, modern kitchen, cosy rooms (really warm centrally heated and ample hot water for all 5 of us) and a lovely back garden that our grandchild and spaniel could play safely in. Such a relaxing place! Thank you x

We were excited to finally visit the Glencoe area and stay at the home on the Loch. Views are beyond amazing from the front windows and sitting room - terrific. Kitchen was very nice. There are 2 baths - we assumed there was a shower in each but one shower was previously disconnected without notice to us. That was disappointing from the point of view that the owner apparently was not wanting to loose our booking... The fact that the information was withheld is the disappointment. We were ready to take showers in the morning after tea and toast and quickly leave for the day when discovered the situation, made calls and had to change plans. We were delayed 1.5 hours the first day unnecessarily. The stairway is very challenging and should be considered for changes but we knew that and took precautions. It would help if at least a half bath were upstairs. Without the shower misinformation the place is in the high 4 star range.

Great place to stay. Enough space and clean. The front room with the view on the loch was amazing. The driveway is a little bit small on the beginning. The road in front of the house is not a busy road. The photos on the site can use an update.

Our second time staying here. We love it! House is very clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. Easy to get to glen coe, fort William, and Oban, but we found ourselves sitting in the window every night just admiring the view. As soon as we can all sort the same dates we will be booking again!

The house was okay. The view of the hole from the porch was sensational. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't that well equipped. Not enough cutlery for 4 people, the pans are no good and there are no larger bowls for salad. After showering twice in the morning there was only cold water. Overall, the house is furnished quite carelessly.

We were very happy with our time in this beautiful, well outfitted home. We traveled with our two adult sons and there was plenty of room for everyone. The front room with the big windows looking out over the loch and the comfy chairs made evenings so relaxing. It was a great base from which to explore Fort William and Ben Nevis. Communication with the host was easy and clear. Would highly recommend this property.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the view was incredible. The house was very clean, quiet and had what we needed. A few suggestions to improve the listing. The bathroom taps needed adjustment (very stiff to turn off) which I note has been mentioned in previous reviews. The shower in second bathroom would benefit from a glass screen to stop water going everywhere.

We had a lovely few days at this property. The location is amazing, we spent most time within the house just sitting in the comfy seats by the window looking out at the loch. There was a nice big secure garden, which was great for us and the dog.

We loved our stay!! The house is amazing right near a Loch. So relaxing sitting in the living room on the cozy arm chairs enjoying the view. Beds super comfy, kitchen well equipped, nice dining area. Nothing to complain at all!!

Stayed here last September and from the very start it was horrendous, firstly the cleanliness absolutely filthy and a smell of drains too. Kitchen sink was hang out of the unit top the cooker had been cleaned a long while, washing machine broke 2nd day and not replaced until the day we left!! No cooking pans microwave was rusty a sparked when used. Both showers did work properly either head were broken and no shower curtain!! Lamps broken and thrown in cupboard. Dog hairs everywhere we spent the 1st day of our holiday cleaning. Bedroom 2 mold and cobwebs everywhere. Main bedroom duvet was thread bare we had to purchase another one it was rank. No BBQ as stated and the log bin was full of rotting rubbish from previous visitors. Shed full of owners crap and the garden a bramble mine field. All in all many issues all down to a lazy caretaker such a shame as location is perfect. Should have had a massive compensation for this and probably will be claiming. I have many photos.

The view……..spectaculair!!! The house had enough space for four adults. With two bathrooms, a sitting room, a diningroom, 2 bedrooms and a large kitchen. It felt very cosy. We agree with orthers that the place could use some maintenance here and there. That would create an even higher comfort.

Have just returned from a 4 night stay….communication for payment prior to arrival was efficient but i had to chase for arrival details the night prior to our stay, all questions after that were answered promptly. The photos on the website are obviously from when the property was first renovated as it is looking tired in places now and the garden is very unkept. The stair carpet leading to the bedrooms was coming away from the stair and caused my friend to slip on the stairs. The twin room has damp stains on the wall and the bed linen in both rooms although washed had stains on it. Due to the above my friend pulled out the sofa bed in the lounge to sleep on and was met with a collection of rubbish, an inhaler and numerous crumbs. The taps in the large bathroom are very stiff and have been pointed out in numerous reviews but not sorted out. Plenty of hot water and clean fluffy towels provided. View is to die for and sitting in the window of an evening watching the sunset is what saves this place………. Great location although the road is busy from approx 5am, within walking distance of good restaurant for food and drinks. Could be a truly stunning property if better finished/maintained…..

Great character cottage. Kitchen had every utensil needed to make pasta, curry, stir fry dishes. Good microwave, Dishwasher, washing machine and big sink. Good cupboard space for what you need to store for your visit. Lovely living room with the one of the best views you'll ever see from a living room window in the Highlands looking over Loch Linnhe while burning the log fire. The property is in a great location to go either direction from. The beds are comfy and the skylights offer a view of the stars if you want it. A few other reviews mention the driveway. I found it just fine to put a Seat Leon in, with ample room either side. The back garden has 3 grass areas divided by a plum slate path and then there's a lovely natural slate crazy paving area leading to the backdoor. Brilliant all in. Thoroughly enjoyed

The photos of this property do not do it justice. It is large and professionally decorated throughout. Do not take any notice of old reviews. We stayed in January. The central heating is fabulous, the house is very warm. The kitchen is large and wants for nothing (perhaps a few Pyrex bowls needed) Most importantly the beds are super comfortable, and lovely linen. Just go for it . We are fussy and this house is above average. Two immaculate bathrooms. This house has unobstructed views over Loch Linnhe . Beautiful . The co op up the road has an excellent food selection, everything you need . We traveled from Cornwall and bought all food locally . Excellent wine selection. Excellent Wi-Fi . And yes , socket for hairdryer near mirrors!! Go for it . It’s wonderful
