Set in a truly amazing location at the North East of the Island of Lismore. Situated beside the sea Strathlorn has breathtaking views North to Ben Nevis, South across the Lynn of Lorn towards Oban and East across the water to picturesque Port Appin.
Strathlorn was extended and completely renovated in 2012 to provide accommodation of the highest standard. It has a stunning living and dining room with picture windows opening onto an enclosed decked area overlooking the sea, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a fully equipped modern kitchen, wood burning stove.
It has a large enclosed garden.

The most beautiful, well equipped holiday home in a stunning setting. The house is spacious and has everything you could possibly need. Very clean, well laid out and organised. The views from the decking are stunning and watching the wee foot ferry going back and forward was a real pleasure. The island is a walkers paradise. Bikes for hire if you don’t take your own are a great way to get about the island too.The wee cafe at the museum is fantastic with the most delicious cakes and ice cream. The island is the most peaceful place to spend a relaxing week and the house is an ideal base.

Hard to beat this for position and facilities. Ideal for my wife who has restricted mobility and could enjoy the panoramic view of the surroundings. For some people Lismore may be restricted but the quietness and walking are ideal for me and my daughters.For once a cottage with pictures we could enjoy rather than those that seem to come from a 50p job lot at an auction! When I first saw those of Collioure the image rang a bell in my mind. I remembered that some years ago we stayed in Port Vendres and visited Collioure and of course have a picture of the tower and one of the unique fishing boats. Not so sure about the Mackintosh picture of Port Vendres. He of course was interested in the architecture but misses the real vibrancy of the place,(The tyre problem was simply because they assumed the breakdown cover would not include Lismore. However when they were persuaded to try found the company could not have been more helpful and it was all sorted on the Monday.)Thank youPaul Oates

The house has everything and more, clean and extremely comfortable. Lighting the fire on a grey morning was perfect as was sitting out on the deck with your morning coffee watching the ferries go about their daily business. Our hosts were so attentive, providing excellent communication from booking to checking out. It was the most wonderful stay.

Overall house well equipped, clean , comfy sometimes felt too warm.Hot water seemed to run out to quickly on one occasion. Lovely views with changing weather.
