Under new ownership, this unit has been completely refurnished. The fresh furnishings and beautiful artwork give this two bedroom, two bath condo the feel of a luxurious beach getaway. The comfortable living area boasts a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, a faux leather recliner, matching end tables, and coffee table, facing a flat-screen Smart television. The well equipped kitchen has black and stainless appliances, granite countertops, wood cabinets, and all the cooking tools you need to prepare food, including a coffee maker, blender, and microwave. A jelly cabinet provides additional space for groceries. Two bar chairs sit at the breakfast bar and a family of four can sit at the counter high table with four padded chairs and a view of the balcony and gulf. The same four can grab their plates and dine on the balcony with the sound of crashing waves. Views of the beach to the east and west are visible. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, nightstands, chest, bench, and tasteful artwork, along with a flat screen television. Its private bathroom has a standard tub/shower combination and granite counters. The second bedroom features a queen size bed, with nightstands, chest, bench, and flat screen TV. Its bathroom is similar to the master's. New wiring was completed in 2020 to improve internet, television, and telephone service. Island Winds East Units: Onsite parking is limited to one (1) parking pass per unit, regardless of size during Spring Break, mid May through mid August, Labor Day, and Shrimp Festival event. Additional parking available offsite. Subject to change.

The location is great. Not far from the main road going back inland. I Iiked that there wasn't another condo on one side, even though there was a public access beach. Check in was relatively easy. I wish there had been an area for loading and unloading, but that isn't a huge issue. The condo was nice, but small. The ocean facing bedroom was a shared bathroom, again not a huge issue, but be careful not to cross the doors or you could potentially put a hole in the door. The dishes, which is the responsibility of the guests to clean, were awful. My first night was spent cleaning. Literally people but dirty dishes up without people. The linens were clean, the bathroom could have used more attention, mold growing on the grout and some growing on the ceiling. However, the convenience to the beach and other attractions made it worth it. I would probably want a larger condo for our family next year. Even though info was emailed, something on the fridge of reminders for check out would have been beneficial. Overall, we had a great time and we would stay there again, but maybe a larger unit.

This was my 3rd time to Gulf Shores this year and this property was a little over priced. 1 of the 2 elevators in the east tower was out of service for the entire stay and another guest said it had been out for a week prior to my arrival.
We arrived earlier than our check in time and the desk said they would text me when our condo was ready. I received a text around 1:30 which was great. We left our activity in Orange Beach to arrive at 2:00pm and the desk said it was an error and the room was not ready.
There is no restroom around the pool area which is inconvenient. Other than that all employees we very friendly and the grounds were well kept.

The location is great… the condo was ok… there was water damage on the drywall by the patio door, the beds were not comfortable, the ceiling fans/lights don’t work, the cabinets in the kitchen smell terrible…. It definitely needs to be updated in my opinion.
