A small, mediocre hotel in a beautiful rustic town

The woman running this hotel was very friendly and helpful. However, we found the hotel to be very mediocre and quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in during our stay in Northern Greece. Breakfast was OK only as there wasn't much of a variety. The bathroom was small and the shower is inside a bath (which I do not like) There is no elevator but the lovely owner helped me lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs when we arrived. Overall, for what you get, I thought this accommodation was expensive.

Early breakfast, with great jam and Greek yoghurt, eggs are done by your order and everything is fresh.

Everything was great : the location is perfect, the bed was super comfy and the whole environment really create the perfect holidays spirit. The owner is an adorable lady who made sure we had a great stay. Would definitely come back!

Excellent accommodation and service.

We wanted a very comfortable room with an excellent view and this totally met expectations. I felt poorly during my 4 night stay but the very high quality bed, quilt and pillows made everything more bearable. Breakfast is always important on holiday and the options available were delicious.

Great for a few days in Papigo! Delicious breakfast!

The breakfast was rich and delicious. Homemade pies, cakes, bread, marmalades e.t.c. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and the hosts absolutely hospitable and friendly!

The mattress was a bit soft for my taste but didn't bother me sleeping.

Its one of its kind, not only the village but everything combined makes this hotel the best citybreak ever. Starting with extremely friendly and helpfull owner with his family, perfect room conditions, super comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and most important mesmerizing view from the balcony! Breakfast was also another amazing experience. All products was fresh and homemade which made our stay more unique! Highly recommend to everyone! At least once in lifetime You need to visit hotel to experience this quite of a mountains, hospitally of the family that runs this hotel and trails everywhere around :)

The best spot at the village. At the very last point you will be able to enjoy the stars and the natural beauty from the balcony. Very friendly staff. Very clean room. The breakfast was just right. Everything is about 1-2 mins away.

The location is great for touring around all the village. The bed was very comfort and the room which had a great view to astraka. The staff was very polite. The breakfast had nice pies.

The room had a fireplace but we couldnt use it The decoration was very minimalist, loosing the cozy. There was a filling of not well prepared on behalf of the staff.

breakfast is a big plus! the owners were very welcoming and polite! they did their best to give us proper advice about weather conditions and preparation for our hiking journey towards Drakolimni. clean and nicely decorated room with very comfortable bed. location is fantastic!

longer curtains or protective glass to avoid wet floor after showering to catch up with the rest of the excellent breakfast offered, stronger coffee (on top of the filter one already offered) could be added

I can't wait to visit again, one of the best stays that we had.

Ms Vasilia and her husband welcomed us with open arms. It felt as if we were staying with close family or friends rather than a hotel. Her son Grigoris is also a very polite and accommodating young man and he was always ready to help in case we needed anything. The property and the rooms are exceptionally clean, and the location is the best in Papigo (in my opinion). In the morning, Ms Vasilia woke up early to prepare a fresh pie for us, which was perfect together with the rest of the freshly prepared breakfast. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Papigo after the wonderful stay that we had at Arkefthos! We will definitely visit again. Thank you, thank you, and a 1000 times thank you!
