Had a wonderful stay! The hosts were always ready to help. They can arrange local sightseeing, railway station/airport pickups and drops, as well as scooter and bike rentals, which made getting around very convenient.
The rooms were comfortable, and offered great value for money, with useful additions like a table and small storage racks. The bathroom was clean. Poha and chai for breakfast were good. The fish tank added a nice touch to the property, and on-street parking was easily available.
Overall, a comfortable stay. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area and willing to stay slightly away from the town in a quiet neighbourhood. It is 15-20 min walking distance from the main market.

Where to start. Khajuraho is beautiful, and its people are even more, picturesque and colourful.
Our stay at the highvill was incredible, thanks to Monish who treated us like family guests, took us everywhere personally and showed us around, the restaurant in the guest house is amazing, and the location even more, right in the centre of action and walking distance from cafes, the temples and other attractions.
The place was very comfortable and very clean.

The rooms were clean and so was the surroundings. The host was very attentive and polite. It is also a very beautifully maintained property making the stay very relaxing and pleasant. We were very happy with the service and as women tourists the stay felt very safe as well.
I'd have liked the rooms to have slightly better sound proofing as I could hear the guests from the neighbouring rooms and I'm assuming they could hear us too. While it was not a big issue for us it can be for others. This will not stop me from booking another stay if I happen to visit Khajuraho again.
