Khajuraho Rancho

We had a wonderful time at the ranch. Everything went as planned. Naim met us, accompanied us all day, and took us to the airport. He was very hospitable. We dreamed of staying with a family, and that's exactly what we got. The conditions are great—quiet and peaceful. Very clean, cozy, and everything you need is there. Excellent Indian food and fruit. We are very pleased and thank you so much for the vacation. Khajuraho is magnificent, and our stay at Khajuraho Ranch was perfect. Thank you, Naim.

We had a really great time staying with Naeem and his family for three days. They immediately made us feel at home! Naeem toured us around the city and to the temples in his rickshaw, which was an excellent way to discover the area (he knows everyone!) We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals in the beautiful garden and had fantastic breakfasts every morning (the poha was excellent). Naeem also shared sugarcane juice with us, introduced us to his cousin and friends, and taught us a lot about the city and the region. On our last day, we went on a nature trip with his friend Arif, spotting wildlife and enjoying a riverside picnic, swimming, music, and a stunning sunset. We couldn’t recommend more Khajuraho Rancho, and we wouldn’t think about any other place to stay if we travel again in the area.

Peaceful, quiet location. The room has everything you need - big, comfortable bed, fan, hot water shower and excellent internet. Breakfast consisted of fruit and a typical Indian dish which was appreciated. We really enjoyed our 2-day stay here and loved being with this wonderful family. They made us welcome and took great care of us. Special mention must go to Naeem and Naseem for their support throughout our stay. They will also organise a very good tour if you need it. Great experience.

There was nothing not to like - they could not have done more to give us a memorable stay. Just for clarity - it is a homestay and therefore a different experience to staying in a hotel.

We honestly loved everything about our stay. The room was very comfortable, cosy and clean, with reliable hot water - something that can be hard to find in India when travelling. Most importantly, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and genuinely kind. Naeem kindly picked us up from the train station and dropped us off again and spent a full day taking us around in his tuk-tuk to explore the temples and the Raneh Waterfalls, including a small safari where we saw lots of animals and even crocodiles! The prices were more than reasonable and the family’s honesty and genuine desire to show us around and make our trip special really stood out. The food and chai/teas were absolutely delicious and Naeem’s little nephew is an added bonus, he is such a cutie. This was by far the best place we’ve stayed in India so far (and we’ve been travelling here for six weeks). We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and we wished we stayed longer.
