Les chambres sont grandes et très propres. Nous avons passé 2 jours avec Mina et sa famille. Et ce fut une très belle expérience. Mina a toujours le sourire et la volonté de faire plaisir. Si vous voulez vivre au rythme d’une famille indienne, l’endroit est parfait.

La literie est un peu dure mais ce n’est pas le plus important !

Ubytování jsme si moc užily. Paní domácí je moc hodná a dokonce nás naučila vařit. Ona a její rodina by se pro nás mohli naporcovat. Veškeré jídlo co uvařila bylo úžasné. Taky kreslí krásné obrázky. Hygiena byla dobrá. Na zavolanou nám zahřáli vodu. Má moc příjemného syna co umí anglicky. Taky nám ukázala nádherný strom kde jsme dostali náramky. Rozhodně pobyt na který nezapomeneme.

Na hotelu není cedule se jménem hotelu. Špatný signál.

Il posto per vivere qualche giorno davvero con una semplice e bellissima famiglia indiana! Le stanze e i servizi sono molto semplici ed essenziali ma non manca nulla! Le camere sono pulite e il bagno ha acqua calda. Quello che fa la differenza qui é la famiglia. Accoglienti e sempre sorridenti. Si passa molto tempo insieme e ho avuto modo di imparare come cucinare vari piatti indiani con loro. Lo consiglio vivamente per chi vuole vivere un’esperienza autentica e diversa dal solito! La struttura non é proprio in centro vicino al forte ma raggiungibile a piedi con una camminata di 15 min!

We spent some lovely days with Surendra’s and Meena’s family. They are very welcoming and warm-hearted and we felt at home right away. If you choose to stay with them, what we highly recommend, you will have a nice and very clean room with comfortable and also really clean beddings. The room has an AC and a Ventilator and is nicely decorated. They invited us often to join them in the common space (outdoor floor in front of the rooms) and spent time together. We danced together, got a lesson how to make chapati, learned new things about the culture and chilled together. We also got the opportunity to wear Sarees and they helped wrapping us in :) One day one of us wasn’t feeling well and they were very caring. If you want, you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner for some extra cost - and it’s very good. If you are still not sure if that’s your accommodation for Orchha here is another plus point for Homes of India: Ashok who helps the families organise the homestays, is also for the visitors a big help. He gave us recommendations for activities around Orchha (for example to rent a bicycle and explore the nearby sanctuary which was really nice), booked the auto rides from and to the train station in Jhansi and also helped us get train tickets for our next travel stop. He replied very fast after every request or question from us and he is very reliable. I hope we already made our recommendation for their homestay clear, if not here it is: we recommend it :)

Gut zu wissen: Man teilt sich Bad und Toilette mit der Familie, aber das war absolut gar kein Problem. Wir mussten nie warten und es war immer sauber.
