Country View Cottage Colva

We had booked a studio flat and we loved it. The room was spacious & provided with a small deck overlooking a field. A comfortable kitchenette with a gas stove, fridge, microwave, utensils, cutlery & crockery. The resident staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Helped us with cab & autorickshaw bookings. A big thank you to the owner for letting us stay for extra hours at no additional cost as our train was delayed. Place is very good to stay for a week or more. Quiet and peaceful. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the property. You can walk to the town center too.

Blackout curtains are needed for privacy & blocking out the heat and light especially in the afternoons.

The highlight of our stay was the staff—they were extremely friendly, accommodating, and addressed all our needs very well. They allowed early check-in, which was very helpful, and also provided extended hours at a reasonable half-day charge. The location was excellent, just a walkable distance from Colva Beach, making the stay very convenient and comfortable.

The stay was comfortable overall, but the room facilities can be enhanced. Adding a wardrobe for clothes and a bit more furniture would make it better. The door latch/lock could also be improved

Breakfast was very good. The family were very nice and friendly!

I liked it in overall. The owner and his stuff took care of my needs including the taxi from airport and breakfast made with love. Rooms are basic but clean and you get very good value for your money. I appreciate that the owner Gregory lent me old but functional mountain bike to get around. He cleaned it and made up and running. Beaches are approximately 5 minutes on foot.
