The food at this hotel is outstanding. We were extremely well fed and just had the breakfast and dinner option. The hotel in summer is a good base for hiking and cycling. A rental car was a bonus, but you can use public transport to get there (rail then bus).
Unfortunately a landslide has cut off the supply of natural hot spring water to the village, so the Onsen options are more limited at the moment in the hotel and the public baths are closed. However a 10 min drive up the White Road is all you need to access an outdoor natural hotspring at Chugu Onsen. To bathe in the middle of the tree-lined mountains was out of this world.

食事がほんとにめちゃくちゃ美味しかったです😁 お風呂も綺麗にされていて、そんなに人が多くなかったので広々と使えました😊 ビリヤードと卓球ができて子供たちが喜んでやってました🏓🎱
カラオケができることを子供が楽しみにしてましたが、新しくしてないとかで曲がないってのと1時間4000円を超えると言われたので少し残念でした💦
