Very cosy house located 10mins away from Newquay centre. Great starting point each day that we went out to explore the most varied Cornwall locations. The high cleanliness standards, the appliances and goods available were impressive. The double bed mattress was extremely comfortable. You only need to bring your clothes and own food. :) The rest is there. Host was also very welcoming. I recommend this 100% and will definitely consider this place on our next visit to Cornwall

Everything was first class - clean, tidy and everything you could think of for having a comfortable stay. We loved the location in the sweet hamlet not far from anywhere. The most comfortable bed and loved the basket of cosy blankets.

Nice quiet location. Very clean and a bottle of prosecco, scones, cream and jam on arrival! Will equipped kitchen and BBQ. Very comfortable! Hosts were very friendly and if I needed to ask anything they were more than happy to help and answered me very very quickly.

Would have liked shower gel or something like that in the bathroom, but that's a very minor thing.

The bungalow is very nicely presented and clean, has everything you could need and feels spacious. Nice quiet location within short driving distance from beaches and newquay- gave us a good base to explore from. Friendly host easy to contact if needed but respected privacy.

Fantastic place, everything you need, home from home, clean and comfortable. Hosts Emma and Gareth were very welcoming. Location was just outside Newquay so that was perfect. Scones and Prosecco on our arrival, fresh flowers smelt lovely as you came in the door. Definitely will visit again...

Perfect family getaway

What a super holiday home. The house is exceptionally clean and comfy. Emma the owner is very friendly and approachable but still gives you the privacy of your holiday. The bench at the front is an amazing place to watch the sunset in the evening. Everything is within a few minutes drive away. The prosecco and cream scones on arrival is a very nice touch. We loved it so much we've booked again!

The location was central to visit various parts of Cornwall.Found Sunset Bungalow very clean and could see it was well looked after and felt like a home from home.The Scones and clotted cream were a welcome surprise along with the Presecco, a nice surprise..Will definitely book sunset for our visit next year.

A hidden gem

It was very clean, lots of homely touches, they had everything you needed, lovely fresh flowers, Prosecco and afternoon tea on arrival. It’s a wonderful place to stay to access all the beaches in the Newquay area.

Maybe a bit of grass instead of stones out the back but I’m being very fussy even saying this!

Everything everything about the holiday from the moment we booked it to the moment that we left this morning has been outstanding. Emma has been clear and precise in her communications with this nothing is been too too much for them, the bungalow is equipped to a very high standard.

Great host! Such a lovely clean house!

The Prosecco, tea and scones on arrival was so great after such a long drive. Emma has thought of everything that you will need for cooking in the kitchen and the cleaning and laundry products were such a welcomed surprise.

Nothing! I wouldn’t change anything. We got really lucky with the weather too which just added to the great holiday. I loved sitting outside on the bench in the sun.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again and also recommend the property to others.

Bungalow was situated on a quiet lane so very peaceful but easy to get to all the main routes to wherever we wanted to go. It was very clean and Emma had provided many basics such as cleaning products, tea, coffee etc. Sadly the weather wasn't great during our stay, even though it was mid May, so we couldn't sit outside in the patio area, which had an attractive seating area. Would have been great to have a drink out there on a nice evening after a long day out.

It was unseasonably cold during our stay and we found the shower room really chilly. There is a small heated towel rail in there but it didn't give out much heat. The hallway is also unheated so that was really cold too. The other rooms had electric heaters so both hallway and shower room would have benefitted from those. If the temperatures had been as they should have been for mid May it would have been fine.

Gorgeous

It was very clean & cosy! There was a lot of facilities that could be used! The photos are just like the place, very gorgeous!

The sofa was lovely to look at but wasn’t very comfortable & quite uncomfortable for two people.. You had to drive to places, wasn’t far but if you want to go somewhere you’d have to drive.
