Signature Beachfront Home, Panoramic Sea Views & Marble Fireplace

The views and location were superb and the space was excellent. Beautiful character home. All modern appliances and very well equipped. Gorgeous sea view balcony off second bedroom. Beautiful living room views.

Small things: plumbing was weak (as host had mentioned) but it meant the middle shower always leaked as the water wouldn’t go down quickly at all. In the kitchen some more space to store food would be good also the shelving containing plates and coffee cups were a little high for average height people. The bottom right window pane in living room unfortunately isn’t clear so you miss a little bit of the view (this is a small thing). And the sofa seating in the living room although looks wonderful isn’t the most comfortable to actually sit on. Again these things are small and didn’t really impact our stay.

The location was amazing with fantastic views of the sea and right in the middle of the town centre. The apartment was generally well kitted out. The sofa's and beds were comfortable, the TV had netflix which was really helpful to keep our 3 year old occupied. There was a hamper with a few treats and milk in the fridge. Anj was really quick to respond to emails and generally helpful. There were board games to play in case the weather wasn't great.

We could not get on with the heating. Everything was controlled by a Nest thermostat which we've never used before and the instructions on how to use it were not very helpful. This meant that the apartment got way too hot in one of the bedrooms and we couldn't sleep the entire stay. We tried to turn the heating off, but then the other room got really cold as the radiator in there didn't seem to be as strong. The other thing that didn't really work for us was that there was animal hair on the sofas/cushions/blankets, and this caused some allergies to flare up. Also the family bathroom only had one light working so it was quite dark in there. For the price that we were paying, we would have appreciated some luxury toiletries, but this was more of a nice to have. The view of the sea was slightly hampered by a Perspex sheet over the right hand side window, which was a bit disappointing.
