Centre historique, appartement climatisé avec terrasse

Location near the tram, easy to walk to restaurants and the market. Lovely view of the square below.

Air conditioning was only in the lounge area not the bedroom there was a heatwave when we were there so it was hard to sleep.

The location on Saint Michel Square was ideal, a tram stop nearby, great food eateries and bars plus the famous Marché de Capucins. The outlook onto the huge bell tower excellent.

For some people the stairs, all 47, may be an issue, but not for us. Being up high affords a great view and out look.

Le quartier s’est dégradé depuis notre dernière visite en 2018 . Manque de civisme de certaines personnes dans le quartier, surtout en fin pm et soir.

A well located spacious period flat with lovely balcony. Fully equipped kitchen. Convenient for lots of shops/restaurants nearby.

Be aware that photo shown is only a partial view from the balcony and there are major restoration works with scaffolding directly opposite. Air conditioning limited to front room only so no air con in bedroom. A major issue when we visited as it was very hot. Write up should reflect this. Steep spiral staircase difficult if you have large luggage as on second floor. Apartment block entrance dark, uninviting and poorly lit. Shower has mould in tray, extractor dirty/not working and broken fixing. Toilet light very dim. Some of the furnishings in poor condition eg rip on sofa and bedroom bedside light had broken lampshade. Flat just needs some TLC.
