Convenient stay in a cool hostel

Very close to the airport, funky beautiful building with a lovely kitchen and living room, and gorgeous views of the crowded and noisy surroundings.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY

The hostess at the front desk was very friendly and effective in giving me guidance about accessing the MEX Airport the following morning. She assigned me a first-floor room, but without a private bathroom. The hostel is close to Taqueria "Los Paisanos", where I enjoyed a delicious and low-cost dinner with tacos. However, walking the four blocks at night is not advisable if you look like a foreigner. I did not because I am a Mexican. The room was very clean.

The room did not have a private bath. The price of the taxi to the Airport was relatively too high, 200 pesos. The stairs at the entrance of the hostel are awkward, and I almost fell. Be careful. There is no wake-up call service, so use your own phone or watch alarm.

Friendly hostel with birds, beautiful plants, and a lot of character.

Close to airport- only a few minutes drive at night. Allowed late check-in. The building has lots of character and staff were friendly. There were birds. The plants and decorations integrated into the building were beautiful.

Shower water pressure was very low /cold- there was a trick to get it working - would be helpful to have a sign with this info. Our room (the apartment?) was very close to the breakfast area which was a bit noisy in the morning.

Sadly I cannot recommend this hotel at all

It was very cheap, but now I know why: they have bed bugs.

I got bit by bed bugs all night, not sleeping at all, and in the morning counted 27 bites all over my body.

Felt unsafe and was not comfortable, unwelcoming, not worth price

It was in a rough and dangerous location according to my uber driver, very difficult to find, and the person working there was no help when my uber tried to call. He said “it’s right down the street” and gave no other info. Additionally he did not help me with my bags (3 flights of narrow winding stairs)was not welcoming. The place looks not as nice as photos and had a lot of bright lights shining through the cracks in the walls and barking dogs. I knew I wanted a place close to the airport but For 100 a night this was not worth it. Spend a bit more to feel safe and comfortable.

Staff were kind, but did not speak any English

Bed is extremely uncomfortable. There were mosquitoes in the room. There was no running water in the morning due to an electrical fault. There is very little privacy with only a window and curtain being the main door and wall to the lobby which was very uncomfortable

Its fine if you need to be close to the airport

Proximity to the airport is good. I opted to get an Uber vs walk as it was my first time in the area. the girl who checked in me in late at night was very kind and cute. the bed was comfortaable and had a decent view at the top of the building. was over all pretty clean.

A couple mosquitos, but nothing crazy like other reviews have stated. The shared shower has stained glass blocks for the wall directly facing the hallway, so I would say the shower isnt 100% private and you can see through a bit. I didnt care, but may be an issue for woman or those who are shy.

Very cozy like a home

The size of the bed and the brilliantly white bedsheets and pillow covers, even though there was no AC but still the temperature in the room was so comfortable, there was a water provided, the building itself is so green and so cozy felt like home.

The cafes and restaurants were far and they don’t accept the card payment at all.

Great stay

The place was super cute and the staff were so nice. It’s only a 15 min walk from the airport, which is convenient. Only thing is that it was hard to find the right way out of the airport, but if you go to where the taxis are (number 10 I think) and go through the parking space directly to the left from the exit, you can cross the street there. I was only going to stay for like six hours before waking up in the night again to catch another flight and they made sure I got the breakfast that was included in the price with me, even though I had to leave at 3 am. The sandwiches were hot when I got them. So sweet, I really appreciated it.

There were bottles as a part of the wall to my room which looks nice but also made it possible to look into my room from the outside.

This is wonderful, quirky, excellent value place to stay near the airport.

this hostel is unique: lots of plants, colours, decorations. every room is different. The gentleman at the front desk during both of our stays could not have been nicer. We had an early morning flight and he put out breakfast an hour early for us!

The room did not have a window so if it was very hot I think the room might be uncomfortable but it was perfect during our stay in mid-April.

I started and finished my trip here. Mexicans were very good to me everywhere.

Free breakfast was self service. Unlimited coffee, bread, ham, jam, etc. Very handy for airport, quite a treck to get to the main museums etc, but I did that with a 9pm flight. Pleasantly quirky hotel with lots of plants.

Only a good place for start or end of trip - close to airport but nothing else I wanted to see. On the day I left I got lost and a local told me the hotel is close to a bad area. But I never felt it was dangerous.

I like the deco of the hostel, it's clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Very close to the airport, one could walk but my flights were at night so I took a Uber which costed me 40 pesos.

It was noisy both nights. The hostel is quiet, but noise came from surrounding bars, firecrackers and planes.

Easy to get to, helpful staff organising a taxi to get me from the airport as I had a heavy suitcase

There was a lot of noise, the shower didn’t really mix the cold and hot water together; you either had hot shower or very cold one. There was no way to make tea even though there were tea bags, microwave didn’t work.

Great to be 5 minutes from airport.

Noise. I had a 5 a.m. flight, the band played on the street till close to 10, then the music started to blare from speakers next door. I got NO sleep. I got home and slept from 2 in the afternoon to 8 that night. The hostel arranged a ride to the airport. The guy said the road was blocked because of the music/party? and he couldn't get through (got the message at 3 a.m. when he was supposed to be picking me up. Somehow he got through and I got to the airport. This was on a Saturday night. It is a hostel - very barebones. No mattress cover, basic. but close to the airport. I DID NOT GIVE THIS PLACE A 5.0 I WOULD GIVE IT A 3

Great place, terrible neighbours.

The faculty was great. The staff were nice and welcoming. The layout was unique and the bed was comfortable.

There was a mariachi concert that began at 9pm with loud fireworks and went until 1am. I had a one night stop over and an early morning flight and was really jet lagged after traveling from Europe. The venue is directly across the street from the hostel and it was impossible to sleep.
