If it weren’t for the view the apartment was awful.

only one good point - the view.

There was no indication that there were 80 steps to climb up to the apartment. We have an elderly dog for whom this was difficult and we aren’t young either. The distance to town was two and a half miles up steep narrow twisty roads so going by car was essential. The spiral staircase was very narrow which mAde getting luggage to the bedroom very awkward. It needs maintenance- no plug in the wash basin, tap in the bath broken, no lever to change bath to shower so had to do this with a screw and no handles on the bedroom windows so couldn’t open them. The vacuum cleaner worked intermittently. Short of glasses and mugs, plus two of them were cracked. It said there were two bathrooms, there was only one plus a toilet and wash basin. It also mentioned views of the garden, there wasn’t one - just a few bushes growing in the side of the cliff. Parking was a nightmare- it was extremely difficult to get into the garage. Also the bedroom was damp.

Ein sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Aussicht absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Die Lage war ruhig, aber trotzdem nah am Zentrum von Stresa. Besonders gefallen hat uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation.

Einziger kleiner Nachteil war, dass die Parkmöglichkeiten etwas sehr eng waren und die treppe auch nur für sehr schmale personen geeignet ist 😂. Ansonsten war alles wirklich top.

Superbes Borromées…

L’emplacement avec une vue extraordinaire sur les îles Borromées ! mais accès SUV difficile… Le séjour est superbe et une belle terrasse …

Nous suggérons de changer le rideau douche et d’équiper les chambres du bas de rideaux occultants …
