Nice stay in Brest

Spacious and comfortable apartment. The area where it is located is old but subject to redevelopment. The property is ugly on the outside, but the interior is nice and well renovated.

Not amazing, just ok

Location was excellent.

The owners should invest in to a new toilet seat and a new mattress in the living room next to the kitchen area. Also, shower needs an upgrade. Everything else is OK, not amazing but OK. It would be nice if the bed linen would be ironed but I understand that it's a waste of time for the guests who are staying only for one night.

Comfortable apartment in the centre of Brest

The apartment is really well equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. We could watch Netflix on TV and the beds were comfortable. I liked the small details, such as free gummy sweets for the little ones and a small umbrella by the door for free to use.

Ok flat suitable for family with car transport.

The flat is not really in the centre of Brest and we didnt really like the district it was in. As we didnt have a car we would have preferred to be more in the centre of town. From the bus stop you have to walk up a rather steep hill to get to the flat. There is a cable car which can take you nearer to the centre but it only starts running at 11am. Also the flat is on 3 levels with the bedroom at the top and the WC at the bottom which isnt very practical if you need to go during the night. The bed is really high and is against the wall on one side so you have to literally climb onto the bed to get in. There is only hanging space for clothes, no drawers in the bedroom. The kitchen cupboard and fridge have a real smell of damp. The area and the flat were not ideal for us; perhaps more suitable for a family with young children travelling by car.

In addition to the washing machine, there is also a dryer available, which made us very happy. The kitchen has all the basic utensils.

I wish the apartment was cleaner. It also has a strong fragrance smell which is overpowering. The place is small and crowded and quite dated.

I would stay here again!

Everything went so smoothly, from the booking and communication with the hosts, always very quick to reply, send the invoice, information about the appartment and surroundings etc. The appartment receives full sun from the front/living room side with a great view of the river and "Les Ateliers des Capucins", which is a 2-minute walk from the appartment and also where the Brest Cable Car (Téléphérique de Brest) takes you into the city centre. It was very quiet, both during the day and during the night. All basics were provided, including a couple capsules of coffee, which was greatly appreciated for the early morning starts. I would recommend this place for work and for leisure purposes, whether you're travelling with colleagues or friends or family.

Cute Apartment with responsive hosts

Well equipped apartment, Easy self check in and check out. The hosts have nearly described all the steps from check in, sightseeing to parking spots. thankfully we had luck with parking spot right outside on the street. The stay was ideal for a group of 3. Relatively close to city centre by car.

Nothing to dislike. only point to keep in mind is that the water is heated overnight. so if we use up the water due to kitchen and laundry, there will not be sufficient hot water till next morning. this is also mentioned in the instructions given by the host but we read it too late.

There is a dampness smell in the apartament at the ground floor. The commons areas in the building should be renovated The location is on the other side of the river, quite dirty and several buildings seemed to be abandoned

Visit in Brest December 2021

Very practical location just a 2 min walk away from the newly developped Capucin complex which had lovely amenities & from where we could take the telepherique straight into town. Alternatively lovely walk to town only 15 min away. Really peaceful area and nice views. Modern apartment felt like home immediately Will come back !

The light in the main corridor of the building did not come on automatically and we could not find a switch. It was very treacherous but luckily we could use our mobile phone lights.

There was a nice concept of the interior design, the kitchen was very well equipped and the appartment is quite big for two people. The hosts were very kind and responded quickly to all our questions.

There is a boiler room at the entrance close to the toilet therefore it was quite hot in the entrance and toilet. The appartment is quite far away from the train station and city center.

L'appartement est bien équipé et vraiment bien situé. L'accès aux Capucins et au centre de ville de Brest très simple. Nous avons baucoup apprécié la vue sur Brest.

Idées d'amélioration : Dans le descriptif en ligne bien préciser que l'accès aux appartements (et surtout au deuxième et troisième étage) se fait uniquement par l'escalier. Quelques livres pour adulte complèterait bien la 'bibliothèque'

Bien situé

Appartement situé malgré le quartier un peu laissé à l'abandon pour certains immeuble. Stationnement à proximité facile à trouver. Très bien équipé. Appartement atypique et très agréable à vivre.

Le ménage approximatif dans la salle de bains et des cheveux longs retrouvés sur le matelas du canapé-lit. Notre fils a utilisé l'autre lit qui lui était propre. Porte-serviette à remplacer, des radiateurs mal fixés et difficile voire impossible pour certain à régler.
