Bray Cottage

I loved the decorations and attention to detail. It made it very homely. I loved there were things to do and EE Wifi was available.

Not enough toilet roll, could've done with a small dishwasher.

Clean, tidy, fully equipped, functional, excellent communication from owner, ease of check in/out, ideal location.

Perhaps a lack of phone signal, but actually, it was nice to unplug!

Lovely little pad to use as a base. Beds were super comfortable and the accesible shower would be important for many. Lovely to have a small bottle of milk and tea bags for when we arrived - a nice and welcome touch.

Nothing to not like about the property although it’s worth making sure you have what you need before you arrive as there isn’t a shop in walking distance.

Was a good base location for travelling over the local areas, having stayed in another property at the location we knew it was a little isolated but this didn’t bother us.

Property has a serious damp issue, having read about this in previous reviews I assumed it had been fixed. The smell was very unpleasant and triggered asthma symptoms. The double single bedroom had a strong smell of urine. The property looked clean on the surface, but had lots of harvest spiders, dust under shelves, behind beds, dirty towel on back of bedroom door, window traps full of thick dust - it needs a serious deep clean. Parking wasn’t close, could have been mentioned. We would have complained but having driven 220 miles, not much point, made the most of it. Left evening before departure day. Shame really, could be really nice.
