A good spot to stay. We’d use again if in the area

Convenient. Probably noisy in summer as located between railway line and motorway. We were not disturbed by either during our stay

Very nice setting with easy parking. Everything you need in a well appointed apartment. Sheila was very warm and welcoming. Very helpful with her advice.

Passable but needs a bit of work

The property is well presented and quiet.

There was no hob or cooking rings for a self catering apartment, We had booked assuming there would be and had planned our meals around there being some cooking facility. The bathroom was passable but could have been cleaner. The exterior of the property needs some work.

Ideal stopover location north of Exeter

The Crossways is an ideal stopover for work or pleasure, in a rural location. The compact apartments can sleep up to four people and have good facilities, fridge microwave etc. There is a good supply of tea coffee etc. Sheila was most helpful when we made the booking, and very accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed here, and I would not hesitate to stay again.

For meals there are pubs a distance of 2 or 3 miles away.

An enjoyable stay

The room was nicely decorated and we felt it was very comfortable staying there. Sheila was very friendly and responsive. The location worked well for us as it was really close to Killerton house and garden.

Quiet, warm and comfortable accommodation.

Quiet in the property as it is well sound proofed, with no noise from the M5 or the railway line nearby. It is very convenient for visiting Killerton National Trust which is only about 3 miles away.

Lovation a good base….

Was a base….

Sofa bed was so uncomfortable & tilts down towards head end… duvet had no duvet cover on, bed linen & towels & flannels tired… Road traffic very noisy… Microwave, surfaces & floor bot clean, menu in room very old & very dirty, table sticky & bathroom lots of cobwebs…. Shame… very dated…

Very nice stay near Exeter

The apartment is very nice and spacious. It was warm and the shower was very good. It had almost everything we needed. There was a microwave, so we could make ourselves ready meals. Sheila was very welcoming and communication was excellent. Lots of carparking space outside. The venue is near industrial type of units and a train track, but we didn't hear any excessive noises and had a peaceful night's sleep. It is only a short drive to Exeter and around 30 minutes drive to the nearest beach.

The double bed was quite small, but was comfy. The sofa bed wasn't very comfy, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't too much of a problem. There is an egg maker but no egg cups, but we improvised. We would happily stay here again, as these are minor points.

it was all prepared for our late night arrival. we kept in touch with Sheila about our eta and she was fantastic! met us at the door and let us in to a cozy two room apartment. the sofa bed was comfy and the main bed was lovely.

Nothing to dislike. It was a bit of a drive from central Exeter, but the benefit was that it was extremely quiet and peaceful. take some snacks or dinner with you or be prepared to order in.
