About this farm stay rental

Recently featured in the 'Scotland on Sunday', this comfortable and peaceful one-bedroom cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple. Situated in the pretty conservation village of Gavinton, a few miles outside Duns, the property sits on a fifty acre organic farm- 'Millar Organics'. Recently refurbished, the property offers underfloor heating, a new kitchen, wood burning stove, smart TV, dishwasher, Wifi, private parking and outdoor seating area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm with sheep, geese, hens, pigs, goats and many stunning views and the restful sounds of wildlife.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at- beautifully clean, great facilities and so many lovely thoughtful touches! It really felt like luxury as everything was just so high quality. The underfloor heating, log burner and amazing mattress/sheets were highlights for us! Loved the complimentary extras too, particularly the pint of milk as you often forget to bring that when you arrive in the evening. The view from the kitchen is very special when you’re making your morning cup of tea. The farm is great, we loved meeting the pigs and animals. Next time we will definitely participate in a yoga class (the studio is next door!) but we were too busy eating eggs this time 😂 Thank you so much Alexa for such a perfect stay- we were working over Christmas this year so this was the perfect cosy winter treat for us.
