About this cottage rental

Valley View cottage is situated in the small historic village of Morebattle in the glorious Scottish Borders. The cosy property is a fully furnished 1 bedroom Victorian stone cottage tucked away in Morebattle's quaintly named Teapot Street. It is maintained to a very high standard and was completely modernised in recent years. This picturesque, centrally heated cottage will sleep two people in the ground floor double bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Fully equipped dining kitchen. Large garden.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Almost wish the temperature had dropped so we could have an excuse to light the fire. Plenty of space to relax in and sitting in the garden to eat breakfast was a real treat, as was chatting to the neighbours. From the minute we arrived we felt at home, outside it was a picture book image of a cottage and the interior didn't disappoint.

Lovely terraced cottage on one level (no stairs except steps up to back garden), traditional decor & furnishings and all mod cons. Quiet hamlet with Community shop & pub. Shirt drive to Melrose & other Borders attractions also within easy driving distance to Edinburgh and Northumbria for Lindisfarne and The Farne Islands. Owners John & Fiona most helpful & do all they can to make your stay a comfortabke & enjoyable one.
