Poggio Lungo is a large and charming villa set in an idyllic spot in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, fields and rolling hills. With its generous layout, extensive gardens and a lovely private pool, it’s an ideal choice for families or groups of friends, especially for celebrating a birthday, anniversary or simply spending time together in a beautiful setting.
The villa is just 2.5 km from the village of Badia Agnano, where you’ll find a handful of restaurants, a petrol station and a couple of small shops. Only 3 km away, Pieve a Presciano offers the popular Osteria dei Vignaioli, while larger supermarkets can be found in Bucine and Levane. The villa’s location also makes it easy to explore the Chianti region, with towns like Arezzo, Siena and Cortona perfect for unforgettable day trips.
Built from traditional Tuscan stone, Poggio Lungo sits in a large, well-tended garden with wide lawns, flowerbeds and terracotta planters full of colour. Several pergola-covered terraces are furnished for outdoor dining and relaxation, and there are smaller seating areas scattered throughout the grounds to enjoy a peaceful moment. For fun and games, there’s table tennis, a fussball table in a cabana, and a swing and slide for the youngest guests.
Inside, the villa is warm and welcoming, with wooden beam ceilings, terracotta floors and exposed stonework creating an authentic Tuscan feel. The spacious living room with its open fireplace and generous sofa invites everyone to relax together, while a separate guest cottage offers a quiet and private space for two.

Most beautiful property! Gorgeous views in every direction. Amazing landscaping. Pure joy! We enjoyed the magnificent pool every day. Outdoor eating area was incredible. Special cooking class and meal with cinzia was a special highlight! My whole family and I hope to come back.

My large family (15) stayed at this house for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views, the gardens, the pool were perfect and exceeded our expectations. The property manager Marcella, was very helpful and we used whatsApp to communicate (with alot of help from Google translate). She helped arrange for the amazing Laura to cook 3 meals for our large family. I would HIGHLY recommend this, the meals were very good and not having to think about meals for such a large group made the trip very memorable. The house has a ton of places to separate yourself and get some silence too, lots of wonderful sitting areas.
We only have three notes. First, it was hot and while there was a breeze at night, each room could do with a fan. Second, the mosquitos...we had some bug spray but for some reason alot of us came home with a ton of bug bites. Just be more diligent about applying. And third, there was a another house close by that were late night partiers. Our first weekend night and last Friday night, the house went off...we are talking to 2-3am. Makes it hard to sleep especially because you need to leave the doors open for the breeze.
But again, none of that took away for how much we loved the place. It was perfect as a hub for our family and allowed us to do a day trip to hill towns, Florence and Arezzo. Thank you to Marcella and Mateo!

The pictures on your website were accurate and gave us a good impression of what the villa would be like. The reality was even better: more expansive, more unexpected amenities (the bikes, the outdoor shower) and the kindness and welcoming spirit of the owners/managers. They had left a supply of groceries to help us dine for the evening and were available to take care of small issues during our stay.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend this villa and owners to everybody!
