About this villa rental
Beautiful villa located on a hill covered with olive trees in the heart of Valdichiana, 1500 meters from Marciano della Chiana, a small medieval village, where there are some restaurants and grocery stores.
From the house the view opens up over the valley to admire Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino and the Montecchio Castle. During the restoration of the villa, signs of the splendor of the past have resurfaced in some frescoes.
The property is surrounded by a large fenced park, where there is a large swimming pool (14x7m, open from May to October), a gazebo with pizza oven and barbecue, and a terrace equipped for "al fresco dining".
The villa, consisting of a main house and an annex, has a total of 22 beds.
Villa: on the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a large living room with fireplace, a double bedroom with bathroom suitable for disabled people, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and two other bathrooms with shower. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and Jacuzzi, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a suite with two double bedrooms, both with bathroom with shower, and a living room with a double sofa bed.
Next to the main building there is a small cottage with a living room with 2 sofa beds, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, as well as a terrace.
Facilities: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, washing machine, barbecue, play area, satellite TV, hairdryer, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, breakfast on request, possibility of cooking classes and wine tasting.
