About this apartment rental
Located in Bayou Road/Bell Triangle near Esplanade Ave, the Fairgrounds, Bayou St John & City Park. This upstairs private unit is in a 100 plus year old 4-unit house. It boasts high ceilings, stainless appliances, & quartz countertops. Central AC and a washer & dryer in-unit. This apartment has private front balcony access, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening wine off the living room. The living room has a full sofa sleeper for additional guests. The bedroom has a queen bed.

To know, there isn't a living room, but it doesn't matter. There are two enormous bedrooms and a big kitchen. Incredibly high ceilings.
Another note is that access is by a steep outdoor staircase, not a problem for me but could be for some.
Oh, there is a tremendous and huge balcony too. Really special. I might recommend a table and a couple of chairs, but spent decades on fire escapes, so it was no hardship to drink coffee or wine there.
The neighborhood is like so much of New Orleans: Bohemian, multicultural, friendly, busy. (That last said, not loud at night.) Expect the usual terrible pavements.
The host was incredibly responsive and unfailingly intelligent.
All in all, it's an excellent place for urbanites in spirit. Definitely not for people who will have difficulty with a steep staircase. Oh one last thing, great WiFi and Roku!
