Traditional Swiss-Flat

The hosts were extremely communicative and accommodating — before, during, and even after our stay! The flat was in a great location, within a 10-minute walk of the station. The facilities met our group of 5 adults' needs perfectly, and if we needed anything or had a question, the hosts were quick to respond. A nice highlight was starting the day with a coffee on one of the balconies, overlooking the mountains.

There was some construction on-site, but it was only a minor inconvenience on the weekday mornings (because of the noise and workers outside the balconies). We had some issues with one set of keys, but the hosts immediately let us in when we contacted them.

Being in the flat was such a great place to come back and relax after sightseeing. Having the kitchen was also a super bonus. Sitting out on the balcony having dinner was a real highlight. Daniella was so nice and helpful. You felt like you were part of the family because her family lives in the other part of the large house.

We liked it all

The location was wonderful (less than ten minute walk to Interlaken Ost with three kids 5 and under) and Daniela the host was even more so. Very kind and accommodating and made things a breeze to access property with anything we needed (I requested a crib for my toddler and she set up a wonderful one with all the necessary bedding). No dislikes/complaints. You do have to climb a short flight of stairs so be aware of that for those with mobility concerns. It was not a problem for us even with three kids and a stroller.
