Where old charm meets modern amenities.

The old architecture has been beautifully kept while adding modern amenities in the renovation process. The location is on a calm street while close to the city center, and many shopping opportunities and restaurants.

Better suited for a couple or close family members as the glass doors of the bathroom do not offer complete privacy from the room.

Great Gem in heart of Middelburg

Brilliantly located smack bang in the middle of middelburg this was a fantastic find as a treat for my wife's birthday. It is a ground floor apartment which leads straight on to street just on edge of main town centre. It has a nice living space, comfy king size bed and shower room where pressure was good and water hot. It also comes with small kitchenette which has a kettle philips senseo coffee machine and a fridge with plates and cutlery. There is parking outside which is free between 8pm Friday and 8am Monday otherwise is expensive at 2.40eur and hour, however there is free parking about a 10 min walk away at the Cycle Hub which was absolutely fine for my wife and I. Loved staying here and if we ever came back would stay again. Martin and Evelyn were great hosts and quickly responded to messages.

Not a dislike but more a suggestion to consider if there was a way to heat milk such as a microwave or milk frother seeing they have a coffee machine.

loved the location but also the apartment, decoration was very stylish, felt immediately at home and… also important a good bed!

one minor thing is that the toilet is next to the bedroom with a glass door ( covered ), traveling with a friend it would have been nicer to have a seperate toilet. but only a minor remark, the welcome and stay was very warm.

Zeer verzorgd comfortabel appartement

Prachtig verzorgd en heel schoon appartement. Ideaal gelegen in het centrum, alles op loopafstand. Goed bed, heerlijke douche. Alles aanwezig voor een fijn weekend. In de zomer wellicht een klein nadeel dat er geen raam open kan, maar dit was voor ons in januari geen probleem. Veel dank voor de attentie voor mijn verjaardag! Tip: de stegentocht! We genoten ook van fine dining bij 'het Restaurantje'.

Historie met een moderne touch.

Het is Martin en Evelyn gelukt om in een historisch pand een comfortabel logement te maken, met behoud van de geschiedenis van het gebouw. De ligging is perfect, vlak bij het centrum, winkels en restaurants. Alles in het logement straalt comfort uit. Evelyn is een geweldige gastvrouw. Wij waren er met oud op nieuw. Een paarstappen naar buiten en we konden genieten van de vuurwerkshow bij de Lange Jan.

Mooi appartement op perfecte locatie

Locatie was perfect, levendig naast restaurant met terras. Heel schoon. Leuk dat de originele details van de tabakswinkel intact zijn gehouden. We konden onze fietsen veilig kwijt in de achtertuin.

Ventilatie van het appartement is beperkt. Ramen kunnen niet open, dus wij luchtten de kamer door de voordeur te openen.

Comfortabel appartement op begane grond van prachtig oud pand aan gezellig plein in centrum van de stad. Winkels en horeca vlakbij, super!

De badkamer is van de slaapkamer gescheiden door (deels) glazen en-suitedeuren waardoor weinig privacy. Wel iets om rekening mee te houden.
