The private beach

Beautiful location, stunning views, good shower lovely little private garden with sun loungers, and umbrella. Spotlessly clean. Bright, airy and a good size Studio. A short cut through to the beach beside it with restaurants, bars and more facilities. From reading reviews we knew that we needed a supermarket shop close by before arriving, and Elena sent us links to two shops.

The mattress needs to be replaced, we both woke up with a very bad back ache after the first night but luckily there was a mattress topper in the wardrobe that we could add to the bed, which helped, but i would recommend replacing the mattress.

Elena was very friendly and always responded quickly to our questions. Communication was easy, and she really tried to help us – for example, when we had problems opening the windows.

Unfortunately, there were several issues: an unpleasant smell from the shower drain, a leaking showerhead with very low water pressure, the sink water didn’t drain properly, the fridge light was broken, the bed was very hard (you can feel the springs), one lamp and a socket had loose connections, and the bathroom windows could only be opened with the help of a cleaning lady halfway through our stay. Overall, the water pressure in the apartment was very weak. The photos on Booking.com are also misleading – they make it look like the balcony is right by the sea, but there’s actually a stretch of barren land in between, and on one side of the view there are factories, giving the area an industrial feel
