Guesthouse Villa Marija

1) The views from the terrace are spectacular. 2) Really good value for money. The apartment is great, with all you need supplied. 3) The outside terrace is surrounded by flowers of all varieties and covered with a vine - it’s beautiful. 4) Lorena the owner is super, provided a fabulous breakfast spread (at extra cost but worth it) taken over looking the gorgeous view in the morning sunlight. 5) please note, accept the offer of a lift from the parking area from Lorena and her husband. We didn’t bother and REALLY should have done .

Only one thing I’d change. We stayed in July when the mornings were light very early. A curtain across the door would stop a 4am wake-up.

Beautifully located, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Lorena was very kind, welcoming and accommodating.

Its the most beautiful little town with the most amazing view from our balcony.

Cobbled streets and hills.. I loved all of this but not for people with walking issues.

Our host was wonderfully accommodating. The location was excellent. View from our private balcony was superb. The room was well appointed, beautiful large bath, and a washing machine! Absolutely critical on a long trip with carry-on only! We opted for breakfast service which was delivered to our room at our requested time, with coffee and fresh eggs on request. Villa Marija and Motovun was one of the highlights of our trip.
