B&B Villa Roumanille

Everything is perfect! The property is absolutely stunning, like French fairy tale villa. It is old, but all the facilities work very well. You get plenty of space in your room, you are basically in your own large portion of the house, it's really cool. Every morning you get breakfast in the garden made by Cedric, the owner, at what ever time you wanted. You also have the option to purchase dinner for the next night (or even same day sometimes) made by Cedric using local produce. We had dinner made by him (in the garden again) and it was great. Pretty sure it was pork tenderloin, asparagus and morel mushrooms with a mushroom cream sauce. Yes please! The garden, oh goodness the garden. It is absolutely amazing! I've never been in a garden like that before. With the size of the garden and how well the property is maintained, you could come here just for the property alone and have a stay-cation there. It truly is a 10 minute walk from downtown Aix, which I would definitely recommend exploring. 10/10 recommending to anyone looking to visit southern France.

Such a wonderful b&b! A little oasis in the city! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable! The host was amazing and very accommodating. Breakfast was in the garden and abundant! We very much enjoyed our stay here.

It’s a bit of a walk to the city center. In the heat, it can be uncomfortable and taxing. We didn’t mind the walk because it wasn’t too warm yet, but be prepared in the heat of the summer.

Everything! Historic, beautiful with gorgeous garden area. Backs up to an amazing hotel with water fountains and peaceful gardens, so very complementary to the environment. The owners were lovely people, the rooms were spacious, the showers were roomy, hot, and powerful. Fireplace and lots of windows in our room. Lovely breakfast in the garden each morning.

Had to be cautious on steps due to historic nature of the property. Cedric helped us get our luggage to our room and was very kind. This next issue is no fault of the property owners, but be cautious with taxi or Uber drivers. Ours was convinced the property was the staff entrance to the Hotel Pigonnet, so he insisted on a continued search for the property. Be aware that your driver needs to follow the exact address, which takes you directly to the property.
